Seriously Tony, if you're in London you must go to Moss Bros. and rent a dinner-suit and all the accessories.
Go a couple of days before you need it and they will alter it to fit you perfectly, but forewarned is forearmed.
Be prepared for when the assistant pops the question "which side do you dress sir?".
