You decided what your gonna play in feb then gramps - up for some pokerz and up for abusing you as standard ofc!
No, not yet, Fat Lad.
Anything interesting going off in Cardiff or Swansea? Lol, that sounds ridic. I mean, you know, poker, not Welshmen singing or whatever they do.
Seriously, I'd rather enjoy coming down there & meeting up with the boys. Who won from a huge field last time I came down, can you remember?
How's the new Lappie working? You up to 2 Tabling yet?
Not much going on in Cardiff - shame really, awesome card room but the tourneys aint great - any fish can bink
Swansea - no chance - last time I played there was the SPT weekend - dealing for yourself suks!!
Think a few of us from next door would be up for a DTD comp - the DS or ukipt, spoke to ash and im sure lewis and a few others would be up to play.
I wish I could only 2 table - save me some moniez then
If we can round of a gang of lads from next door, I'll almost certainly play whatever they play, either the £300 or the UKIPT thingie . Fair enough?
You see the Show last night, or at least, the final hour?
There was a new name to me - "furrykiss" - who was abso different gravy, he played THE most breathtaking moves, time & time again, & mixed it up a treat. You know of him/her?
Finished 2nd in the end, but wow, a scary player. The rumour is that he's a blonde (I truly have no idea), but, as the saying goes, he's deffo played before. Lovely to watch.

On the Sky Poker front, congrats (yet again, he seem to own the place) to AndrewT, or "DrMarbles" as he's known there, for absolutely crushing the field in the Viva Las Vegas Semi-Final, booking his Grand Final Seat for next Sunday. Winner (looks like two £10k packages will be on offer) gets a 'phone call on Monday morning from Mother to book the return flights to Vegas for two people, & Suite at The Rio, da de da. MBN, congrats & spam, seamlessly morphed.
He had double anyone else with 10 players left, & with 3 going through, he just walked it, "hard-held" so to speak.
Nice one Andrew.
Tomorrow, we have a VLV Telecon to start sorting out how we manage the VLV packages this year. Amazing how quick it comes round, it does not seem 5 minutes since the last WSOP trip.

I just find them very hard & boring to read. I love reading hand-plays when "hand-written" though. Might be "lol" to you, but each to their own. I'm not alone, either. One other peep agrees with me. Might even be two. Massive.
I've read - eagerly, & with interest - every word of every line of every Post on your excellent diary - until today. I just could not manage all those H-H's. I just assumed you were crushing everyone, & snap exited.
PS - Apologies, but I don't know what a "ninja edit" is, sorry.

Just spoke with a few and the £300 jobbie seems like the desired event - I will probably play anyway but leave it with me - i'll try and get more involved.
I did watch the show and obviously just muted your analysis
Kissyfurr i think you mean Sir and yes I do know who you mean - it is a he BTW!!
You have spoken with him before - he is friends with someone you work with in Sky (or used to anyway) and you chatted with him in a comp. I don't remember which one, we were on the same table and I was Owning you - so that doesn't narrow which tourney it was im afraid.
He is a very aggro player, you will see him lead a lot of tournaments but then fade away - to aggressive in the end.
Plays cash on sky but not a regular - takes shots etc
Really nice guy on the tables, that last night was probably his biggest cash that I know of.
Would you believe GB coming in 5th - the 1 week we don't swap % cos his MSN is bust and he goes on to get 1K FML lol

Haha no worries, I know they can be boring and at least require a bit of explanation.
Got an article about a hand I played with Toby at the DTD Monte Carlo coming out in Pokernews mag soon. Tighty provided me with the pic for it and (with his permission) I submitted the credit as Ricardo Prewdalecci of blonde poker.
Got it through the writer, Rebecca McAdam (oh hi der) but not past the editor!

Jeez, absolutely not!
I know many of them personally, of course, but that's a quite different thing.
"Admin Rights" would be necessary for that, & I don't have Admin Rights. In the unlikely Event that I had them, or needed them for my job, I'd naturally have to cease playing there immediately, so I'd rather it stayed as it is. I'm not that fussed who is who, but just have a natural curiosity from time to time when an interesting player arouses comment.

Kissyfurr is a Londoner but has links in Australia - last I heard he was emigrating out there!!
I only use "Sir" to very very very very old (ancient in fact) people - would it surprise you that I don't call anyone else "Sir" - it's an age thing see

Did what I thnk was a "good" Show last night, finished at 1am, & slept a little better.
Meeting with a publisher this morning, 2 hours, but quite revealing. The mix of hard print media & Online is now intertwining beautifully, & they can really press some clever buttons these days. Print Media will die soon, of course, but it's fascinating how they are managing the conversion from one to the other, & those who don't or can't will perish.
Discovered, quite by chance, as I'd overlooked the e-Mail, that my one of my contract's - the main, non-865 one - has been extended until November. That'll see me into my 65th year, good grief. I'll maybe have to have another bash at retiring soon.
Two long Meets scheduled tomorrow, the weekly Management Meeting, & then a VLV meeting. I find it quite exciting planning for the WSOP every year from the other side of the table. I have been part of Sky Poker's VLV "Management Team" since the start, about 4 years ago, but I never get to know if I'm on the trip until a few weeks before the trip. Makes it quite interesting to be part of the planning & not knowing if I'll get the trip. Keeps me on my toes, too. I'd love to go, but I won't shed a tear if I can't, I've had a great run.
Tomorrow evening, the Sky-blonde League.
Wednesday, a trip to the ICE Gaming Exhibition at Earls Court, to look at a piece of kit 865 are keen to explore, then rush back, & in the evening, another Sky-blonde League night. Tighty likes to keeps me working. Good fun though, a reminder of "old blonde".
Thursday I travel up to Manchester, & play the £220 Monthly Biggie in the evening from my Hotel, the Park Inn. I hope they have Internet - the Copthorne at Newcastle never had in-room Internet!
Friday, Saturday, Sunday maybe, Team Sky Poker - about 8 of them - all play the Manchester GUKPT, so Mother Hen duties there.
If it does not quite go to plan, travel back south on sSnday & play my fave fun comp - the Luton £100. Another week done & dusted.
Then, next week gets really interesting......

Ahh, got it back to front - yeah, "kissyfurr", sorry.
Friends with someone I work with? I'm racking my brains, but I'm none the wiser. I must chat with a 1,000 players a week, via 6 or 7 different mediums & platforms, & my memory-retention is not what it was.
I do like it when you address me as "Sir". Proper respect, that. They are the same here, of course.
Teeks - you ok? Vinni was looking for you at Luton.
Vinni can bollox. I don't even read his Diary any more.
"Teeks". That's a Sky Poker nick! - which side are you on these days? Mr Pace first called me that, & it's kinda stuck. I think it's a kind of respect thing.

Just spoke with a few and the £300 jobbie seems like the desired event - I will probably play anyway but leave it with me - i'll try and get more involved.
I did watch the show and obviously just muted your analysis
Kissyfurr
i think you mean
Sir
and yes I do know who you mean - it is a he BTW!!
You have spoken with him before -

That's a very personal question.
