Is there any plans to improve the structure?  Its pretty terrible for a £200 buy in

The structure is set to try and get the end of the tourney on the TV.
Yeah I know this, but talking to a few people yesterday who were also in, there must be a way around this?

Hi Keith,

As I replied to you & others on Wednesday, "Might have a day off on Friday &/or Saturday, & have a monsta catch up".

100% not forgotten, it won't be swerved, I just have a lot of stuff going off right now, personal & business, & I want to be able to reply properly on the whole debate, which will take an hour or two.

Bear with me, please.

PS - Today's "day off" never materialised, as some quite time precious stuff - "work" - is going off next door which I need to handle today.

Thanks.

If you want to ring me & chat it through, feel free.

No worries, just teasing really!

Bless you.

So many things I want to Diary right now, but cant. One day.

Does anyone know the story of the very famous businessman (still alive & well, though now exceedingly old) who, so folk-lore has it, has penned an unopened letter which begins "Yesterday, I died...."?

What an intriguing notion.

Could only really be fewer players - it used to be a 50 cap.

When it got down to 4 tables last night, I happened to be on one where no one had above average chips, so every hand went fold, fold, shove, fold, fold for about half an hour.

The standard in the tourney has picked up as well - more players who know what they're doing, so early bust outs don't happen at the same rate, leading to a crunch point when the blinds go up.

If Tikay could fill the tourney by attracting fish instead of people like Thewy, it would be appreciated.

When Yul Brynner got lung cancer, he recorded an anti-smoking film which was to be aired after he died in which he said 'I'm Yul Brynner, and I'm dead now. I was killed by smoking' or similar.

In fact, i found it on Youtube.

start it an hour earlier, and the TV picks up the tourney from a later stage than it would do currently?

I went on a self awareness training day with work a few years ago and one of the tasks was to write our own obituary...3 people ended up in tears, two left and 1 one ended up on long term sick for 6 months...Not quite the outcome my boss expected!!

What would you give for a week in Augusta for the Masters?

A round in the pro-celeb comp and special badge to wonder here, there and everywhere throughout the week.
Access to all the golfers and caddies behind the scene.
A little book detailing the local birds and wildlife.

Lol, I actually suggested this was the line up to ElBlandie when I heard of the show:

Tikay, Barny Boatman, Mickey Wernick, Willie Tann, Paul Zimbler & Roy Brindley

Looks like I was thinking in the right terms.

It was great fun. Mr Thew and I seem to have flu, I think mine wasn't helped by the air-con but he could have easily got his from one of his enormous tribe of kids.

Won't sue though. I actually enjoyed myself.

Unbelievable, what an incred week.

Why are weeks so short these days?

Gonna try & get some Diary updates done today & tomorrow, worked pretty hard this week, huge fun, but I need a break now, & I want to Diary some of the week if I can.

I guess I ought to construct a to-diary list.

Something clicked recently and I have just awoken to how powerful it is. I was probably the biggest twitter sceptic around (Its like facebook, but you cant do as much, was what I thought), but now I think its a must for journalism/marketing types like me. I have been reading a shedload of stuff on it this last month or two. I am planning on becoming the Stephen Fry of poker by the end of the year (minus the kissing fellas bit).

Either that or I will be posting pictures of my dog n that until I get bored
