I'm thinking of escaping for a day a week to play a little golf soon, Methuselah will ease me in, I hope, then maybe we can play a little relaxed golf, I think I need to take it up again.
You know all you have to do is give me a call.
Now would be a good time as I'm about to start easing back into it myself after my winter hibernation.
Not played for a while so an 'easing in' game would suit very nicely.
Count me in if you want to get something sorted.

If you want to make a fourball up , count me in ta.
Sure we could have a few bets on the outcome

What price can I get that Tony doesn't show up?

'No offers' on that Ralph.
He's all talk and no trousers.
Reckon Young uns v Old uns would be a good doubles match.
But we can only dream of seeing our hero in the flesh.

That last statement looks a bit 'odd'

A recurring theme from my public, I note.

If I agree to it, I'll be there, 100%.
I lost all my golf gear in the flood, but that's not really a problem. I virtually gave up golf when poker took over, & now I've not played for several years. I was hopeless when I "retired", so Heaven knows how I'd even connect with the bloody ball now. Fortunately, I'm not in the slightest competitive at golf, I just enjoy the walk, the countyryside, the fresh air, the wildlife, the energy expended gently, that's all I need. In 5 or 6 years of golf, I recall every single time I connected with the perfect sweet spot. Both times, to be precise.
But Flushy, Methuselah, Mr Giblin, Golden Bollox Moult, this is getting tempting.
A chap from next door, Squawky, is a Golf Pro, & a very good friend, & he's promised to help me get my game together. The poor chap has no idea what a daunting task that is.

I must say that this whole debate irritates me a little and is what prevents me from playing as many sats as i would like to. If these sites want to make money from sats where they earn rake then it is disingenous at the very least to expect players to advertise their companies for free. I would drop any firm I had qualified with the second I was made a proper offer and the only time I did qualify online for a big event I didn't wear the gear that firm gave me but they weren't in any way pushy about it but I was quite comfortable telling them where to get off if they had. Imagine the response that Carling would get if they told every team that got into Europe that they had to wear a Carling logo in the Europa League!!!
This.

I spent some private time with Ian Frazer on Sunday, he was "shadowing" me in the Studio, as we might be using him a bit more on the Show. He was very well received last time, "worked" the players well at the SPT, & he ticks quite a few boxes for us.
Anyway, he mentioned that he was off to Spain on Thursday, for a few days golf. And again, I'm thinking, jeez, wish I still played, how nice would that be, pop out to Spain or Portugal for a few days & play a bit of golf, lovely.
Then he made it worse. He had gone on the internet to check out the Hotel on Saturday, & it transpired that while he is staying there, every day at 4pm they are hosting a €1,000 NLH Freezout.....
If only I was not so full on in everything I do.
Very tempted by the thought of retiring right now, & just bumming for a few years, travelling, golf, poker, televised sport (Masters shortly), stuff. It'll pass, I'm sure, but the last few days have been troll heaven, & it becomes tiresome eventually, dealing with people who have the social skills of a cockroach, & the brains of a creepy crawly thing.

At least six different logos here, in one of the most commercially astute sports
Corporates and sponsors don't mind sharing space with others
I think poker is quite behind the times

And there's about 8 time the advertising space on me than young Mr Hamilton.
An advertisers dream, me.

How many of those sponsors are in direct competition with each other though? You would never get VodaPhone AND O2 on his attire, or Pepsi AND Coke

I'm struggling to visualise Mr Hawkins doffing his cap at Mr Captain, & addressing me as Mr Kendall.
Or Flushy, with his shirt tucked into his trousers, & knee length white socks if he wears shorts. "Your Honour Mr Kendall" on the tee coming from Flushy would be rather nice, I think.
