My usual cash table at the Venetian is next to the tournament registration desk. Usually around 3pm there are 1 or 2 people queuing for the second DSE event of the day.
Yesterday the queue was massive and the field was well over 200 so much so they had to use cash tables as an overspill. I wondered what had attacted them? Then I saw him coffee in one hand in a smart "Skypoker" badged t shirt, old father time himself, "fresh" off a ten hour flight chomping at the bit to play poker.
Simon! Was great to see you, mate. Bumped into so many friends, I had a lovely day, quite eventful, too.
I planned to do a Daily Blog from Vegas, starting today, but Tom distracted me & made me go all geeky, so I'm not sure I have time now. Go & play the noon NLH, or write the Blog & play the 3pm Omaha instead. Dithering is in full flow.
Had a grand day, & won a nice few bob in the end, too.
If you get chance, the so-called "Big O" Hi-Lo game is quite good value, $1-$2, with a $5 bring-in. Especially if you run as good as I did.....
See you later today, I hope. Chompy, Dean, Gav all arrive today, I saw Keith Miller there yesterday, also Kev O'Leary, Sam Razavi, & AndrewT arrives next Monday, staying at same hotel as me. All good.

No, regular PLO today.
I'll probably play both! Have one bullet in the noon NLH, gamble a bit, then throw a sulk & go play the Omaha instead. I'd rather play Omaha all day & night, so much more enjoyable (to me) than the 2 card game, & standards have not improved as much as they have in NLH, but I'm like a kid in a sweet shop, & can't wait to play, so I'll probably toss away $340 in the Noon NLH, before rinse repeat in the 3pm O.

Just checked with Venetian. $350 Limit O8/Stud8/b 10K chips 40 minute levels. Reg open to 5.15 pm.
Cash Big O sounds a better alternative though to the noon DSE if you bust early.

Bugger! My bad, I was a week out, I have lost a week somewhere, was looking at last Tuesday, sorry. I weas due to come out last week originally, but delayed due to UKOPS.
LIMIT? Sod that.
OK, off to play the Noon NLH, & then that Big O cash game again. Shame, I rather enjoy Stud, too, but I struggle with Limit.

Testing, testing......
Got my I-pad in The Venetian cardamom, pretty neat, this!
Can you hear me Mother?
Now, if I see any pesky kids messing with I-pads at the table, I can insta rant about it on blonde.

Am booked until about the 20th I think, though I am flexible, and may move that by a day or two either way, depending if anything comes up at work which would be desirous of my delicate touch......
