You have to love this line from that interview.
'There will always be people who don’t like what I have to say, but I genuinely question their intellect.'
If that's how it is maybe The Camel is right.
I used to work for a guy who regularly said "Let's all be reasonable, & see it my way".
Was he a big Brian Clough fan?
Michael Parkinson: How do you react when someone says, "Boss, you're doing it wrong?"
Brian Clough: Well, I ask him how *he* thinks it ought to be done. And then we get down to it, and we talk about it for twenty minutes, and then we decide that I was right.
Intriguingly, no, quite the opposite - his Dad actually sacked Clough from Derby County. Not room for two stubborn buggers, presumably.

Sigh...
This was on my diary two days ago.
It's old news. stagnant. (Some might even say moribund).

WTF is going on with this diary?
It's becoming a Negreanu love in.
It's simple. When the little twerp mutters the words "for the good of poker" (and he mutters them quite alot) he actually means "for the good of Daniel Negreanu".

Already been linked. On the other diary. You know, the one with pictures of birds on it.

He did not need to - he taught me it.

SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT
We must briefly interrupt this Diary to bring you some poker. Normal service will be resumed shortly.
For now, to be going on with, & keep the regulars happy, here is a hollow concrete block.

All the smokers at DTD yesterday were standing outside in the freezing snow wearing coats & woolly hats.
Meanwhile, you-know-who was strolling around in his shirt sleeves.
"I have two coats in the car" He informed me proudly.

Good luck today Tony.
Thanks Tom. Had an absolutely lovely day yesterday, really enjoyed myself, 90% of my table companions - I was on 5 different Tables - were good fun, with just one or two of the sullen types.
The "cool dude" who was on your opening Table came to my Table later, absolutely refused to crack a smile, & informed everyone he was a "regular". He was good, very technically correct, except for a tad too much arrogance maybe, too, but he riled Ali Mallu with his attitude, so Ali decided to have some sport with him.
Ali played back at the poor lad time & time again, & the dude would dwell for minutes, shake his head, & sigh-fold every time, whereupon Ali would show him pure air. The kid was getting more & more tilted, I almost felt sorry for him! Eventually he done the lot when he refused to yield to Ali's 39th 5-bet v him, & Ali had the Kings this time & busted the lad, who departed in a flounce that Chompy would have been proud of. For a moment, I thought the Table were going to applaud Ali, but somehow they restrained themselves.
I performed a miracle, too, & managed to get Ali to lay down 8-8 pre-flop. History was made.
