Have you been keeping track of Matt's effort to fight back vs 365 in the Sports section?  It's my daily source of comedy reading lately.

Top man. No more tits & bums, right? Team Perv are so common, & working class.

What exactly is that photo?

As far as I know it's some beta technology for a water powered powerplant. My understanding is the experiments have been fraught with problems thus far.

It is supposed to reduce drag.

I feel incredibly sadly pedantic, but they must be on the trailing edge, shirley?

A stalwart of British horseracing commentary, was surprised to see him running the show at lowly Musselburgh today. I'm sure you'll have a story for this guy somewhere.

I can't hold a candle to the racing expertise of some that visit this thread, but I do know enough about racing to know he tilts the life out of me.

Ahhh, thought he may have been relegated to the lower meetings. Had a wee chat with him as all day he mastered that parade ring/winners enclosure talking to all and sundry, a word for everyone and really ran the show well I thought.

Hats off to Sky Poker, just started playing there and was having trouble with the client so I just used the browser based lobby. Was regged in ~£300 worth of heads up SNGs and all of the lobbies failed to load - went to the live chat support and they immediately confirm that it was indeed an error on their end and had the refunds credited within 5 minutes. To get that out of ipoker you'd be going back and forth for days over who is to blame and even then you're only a flip to actually get a refund.

Fascinating. Sounds like a wind-up (boom tish), but there we go. I stand corrected. My inner fluid-dynamicist is hereby puzzled.

Sounds like great customer service i personally have never suffered with many issues, but that sort of thing would give me confidence to play a particular site.

World Press Photo Awards, some amazing shots, post your faves teeks http://news.uk.msn.com/world-press-photo-winners#image=1

Thanks Jeff. My favourites? So many. I was not familiar with the site - MSN.com? - but I really enjoyed it, & spent a good while in there, looking around. Think I'm addicted to viewing photographs.

A few, in no particular order, & I'll mostly spare you comment, ("mostly".....) though ask away if anything piques your interest. Think I like the word "piques", though I'm not sure that is the correct use of it.

Later today, I'll be Posting some poker based stuff. Suggest you look away, it's painful to read. No HH's though, I promise.

This is a sort of token for man's greed, & insensitivity to others, in this case, animals. The "horn" had been cut off with a chainsaw, as it is worth a lot of money. FFS.

Increasingly, man is hurtful & insensitive to others, too, & I got a bit depressed yesterday, listening to, watching, listening, & reading, the way that some people, poker players in this case, can be so cruel, unthinking, & selfish.

I was idly scrolling my Twitter timeline, which has a good few poker players amongst it's number, & all I could see was players abusing & mocking other players for perceived "poor play", or not being so good at the game. Whatever happened to winning & losing with dignity, to self-respect, & common decency? Does the "villain" in the hand always have to be a "moron", "retard", "cock-sucker", "utter twat"  or whatever? Truly, I think these individuals have had their social senses dulled by spending too long clicking buttons in front of a PC.

OK, that is my February rant done & dusted, I'll not rant again until March, promise.
