Was great to see what's left of you yesterday and I'm really glad you're going to start eating again soon. x

good to see you last night Tony and you looked fit as a fiddle. How did that exit hand go again?

The Hearns are great to work alongside, very down to earth family like Tikay says.
Also loving what Eddie is doing with boxing atm, for a long time it seemed like nobody gave a toss about it, but its nice to have someone cheering so loud for British boxers.
Yup, though he was a bit too quick into the Ring after/during the Frock fight!
Just over-enthusiasm I guess, but he may have been a tad fortunate that evening.
I was going to mention that but think it showed just how much it meant to him and from tgat perspective it was great to see....he did look pretty funny when he looked over at the ref and saw he was giving him a count though!!!!!
Can't blame him too much for that, everyone watching thought the Ref had already called it. Indeed anyone watching would have called it a tad sooner, no way could he defend himself anymore.
Personally I admire what the Hearn's have done. I spend a lot of time in the Leyton Orient press room and of course Barry gets more than his fair share of stick from certain people who wouldn't have the guts to say boo to him in the flesh. However on the whole he gets a fair amount of respect for what he has done for that club over the years. IMO he's a very good chairman to have.

A most odd piece of "linking" follows.
I was looking up something this morning for a piece I was writing for next door, & just happened upon this.
It's only 2 years old, but even so, the photos evoke a million thoughts & stories.
Acknowledgement to our good friends in AWOP.
Just look at some of these photos.....

Today was the penultimate weigh in on Diet2012.
Monday March 12 - 14st 0lbs
Monday March 19 - 13st 8lbs
Monday March 26 - 13st 2lbs
Monday, April 2nd - 12st 12lbs
Monday April 9th - 12st 10lbs.
Monday April 16th - 12st 8lbs
Monday April 23rd - 12st 6lbs
Monday April 30th - 12st 5lbs.
Monday May 7th - 12st 2lbs
Monday May 14th - 12st 2lbs.
Monday May 21st - 11st 13lbs.
Monday May 28th - 11st 12lbs.
Monday June 4th, 11st 11lbs
Monday June 11th, 11st 9lbs.
It ends this Sunday, & I'm thrilled to bits with it. Then I'll start eating like an idiot again & it will take me just 9 months to pile it all on again. Makes no sense at all, but I can't help myself.
Loved it though. Meals are SO good when dieting, I relish every mouthful, eat it much slower, it is a real pleasure. When in non-diet mode, I eat "nicer" stuff, but I doubt I enjoy it half as much, it's just "habit eating".
Not had a Rennie or a Nurafen since I started the Diet, either. I'll need both in Vegas, 100%.
I don't believe in diet "aids" or supplements, just the right food, but I eat mountains of it, & am never hungry, though my energy levels have been a bit low recently, & I've struggled to get enough sleep. Lack of energy intake I guess.
This week, I'll start to run down the stocks of "diet food" at home, Ryvitas, Rice Cakes, tinned tomatoes, fresh tomatoes, mushrooms (packs & packs of them) beetroot, fresh pineapple, strawberries, apples, grapes, think I must get through 6 or 7 packs of grapes every week, & Muller Lite Yogis. The Sainsbury's fresh fish counter takings must have shot up too, I buy cod loin & salmon fillets like they are going out of fashion, can eat as much as that as I can handle with no diet issues.
I do this routine every year, but missed it in 2010, so 2011 was a 5 stone jobbie, so this year's 2 stone+ loss was a walk in the park.
Wish I could break the cycle, but I can't.
Sunday? Here comes pork pies, bread - I SO miss bread - cakes, chips, sticky buns, Vegas size cream doughnuts & eclairs..... oooohhhhhh

You put on a master class on how experienced players should look after new players at the tables over the weekend - Momma Shoelace wont shut up about the fun she had.
You should talk 'how to welcome new players in live games' on your telly show.

agree with this
having recently played live in a casino first time recently the "welcome" was not quite so kind
