I was going to ring you this morning about something but I received a phone call just before I was about to ring you and by the time that finished I had clear forgotten why I wanted to phone you in the first place!

We agreed to settle the payment of my action out in Vegas therefore it is easier for us to sort out my payment to you for the 2% once we know who owes who what either in Vegas or after.

Had so much to Diary today, but it all got away from me.

In that time, I've not had one Rennie, one nurafen, & my health has been much improved. I struggled a bit with energy towards the end, but thoroughly enjoyed every day of the diet. It's hugely satisfying to set a tough personal goal & achieve it.

Today, however, the beetroot, pineapple, the "concoction" (tinned chopped tomatoes & mushrooms), the Ryvita, the Rice Cakes, the Extra Lite Phili, the endless grapes, fresh pineapple, strawberries, all go in the bin.

7am tomorrow, at Gatters, it's a full fried brekkie, & then on arrival in Vegas, it's Sticky Bun Heaven.

Sorry about that, but I'm as pleased as Punch with myself for that. Shame I'll now go & pile it all back on again now. Daft, 'innit?

There endeth all talk of my diet, & sorry to have bored you so, but part of the psychological drive needed was to "out" my goal, so that the threat of humiliation hung above me if I failed.

My apologies. I'm pretty sure that there was collateral damage from the diet, & my brain & memory both lost weight & efficiency. Or maybe it's just senility.

You are an amazing man and most people would have had all their energy zapped by 7.30 am with your workload and how much you get done before their alarms even go off.

I don't "have to" Jase, but as sure as God made little apple pies, I will.

In Vegas for a month, on past experience, I doubt I'll put on more than 3lbs or 4lbs. I actually eat worse at home, lots of bread & potatoes, & my weight just gradually rises. By Xmas, I expect to be a fat bastard again, probably somewhere around 13st.

I have had the same annual cycle for 30 years or more. My family were all "ample", it's in the genes I assume.

I could of course be sensible, & eat properly. Don't be betting on it though.
