Today's tournament choices for the Syndicate are the Golden Nugget $230 Omaha 8 or Better, or the WSOP $1,500 Omaha 8 or Better.

I'm totally in my comfort zone in the two bit Tourneys around town, I love them, feel no pressure, don't play scared, & they are huge fun, as the same bunch of regulars play them all, & I've befriended many of them. I know for sure I would much enjoy the Golden Nugget $230.

There has been some suggestions that I should set fire to $1,500 - not all of which is mine (because of the stakers) - & play today's $1,500 WSOP 8 or Better. I may even have, in a moment of rashness, suggested I would play it if I finalled the Wynn Jobbie, which I did.

I went to bed pretty much having decided against it, I'm just having so much fun playing the bits & bobs events, I'm a bankroll nit, & it would mean a great deal to me to come home in profit, more psychologically than financially.

This morning, I looked at the WSOP structure. 1 hour levels, 25-25, followed by 25-50, a grinders paradise.....now I'm wobbling!

IF I play this, the current stakers are all in, as we said a Vegas spend of between $5,000 & $10,000, & we look likely to come in below $5,000 spend, plus we have some profit in the bank so far.

Two people have asked for a bit of action if I play it, too. I don't believe this compromises the existing stakers in any way, if it does, & you think it's wrong, please say so.

The two would-be investors (which would be for the WSOP Event ONLY), are.....

Doobsy. He has been very kind to me out here, Railed me plenty, & due to a misunderstanding, missed out on the original staking. He wants $250 worth.

Claypole. I do a lot of staking with him, all "off-Forum" via PM's, have done for ages, & he asked if he could "give some back" (lol). I agreed 5%.

It would all be at "par" of course.

Exactly.

Why would anyone NOT be fascinated by Vegas's circular escalators?

Go for whichever you will enjoy most but I'm sure one of them is likely to provide greater memories.
Take pity on the guys that you've been smashing and let someone else have a chance.
Sell as much as you like, as you say it doesn't affect existing investors at all.
Just don't sell over 100% and spend the night boozing. Smiley

It might be the only chance some of us get to ever say that we staked a player in the WSOP.

Surely the incentive to give Neil Channing mad bracelet rubz when you scoop the tourney makes the decision for you?

Just thought, you'll be able to claim the title of oldest WSOP participant too - that would be quite an achievement.
