I'm having a "rest day" from poker today. I decided not to play any further Hold Em events this trip, & I cannot see anything that suits today.
I'm not gonna play for the sake of it, so I'll have a rest day, have a nice kip this afternoon, & maybe try to catch up on some of the Diary questions later.
For my stakers, I'm afraid we set fire to $600 yesterday. Bugger. It was inevitable really, after our little heater.
I'll update the Staking Syndicate numbers later.
For now, a sticky bun, followed by a nap. Happy days.

enjoy your writing as ever tony. Dno why u say u felt out of depth in that plo comp, your exit hand sounds like u were about the only one on the table who played their hand correctly. How he can call an old fella who must have aces with an ace in his hand and the whole table behind ready to repot him is anyone's guess, hope u took it like a child and told him he's scooped the low half of the pot with his bag of spanners as well. Sounds like u shoulda gone with your hand when the kid made the mistake against u, once u get involved with the floor it makes it obv u don't have a made hand like a set and willing to get it in, he may have folded even with very little back and if not u sounded like u had nfd and wrap, defo sicker spots to be in

Great observations and obv well written. I really don't know how you find enough hours in the day for all the things you have to squeeze in.

That's so weird.
I have now penned 13 Blogs on this trip, & I thought yesterday's was far & away the worst, so much so, that I almost never put it up.
There have been very few comments about the Blogs from blondes, (which is fine, the Blogs are aimed at a different target audience) & today, following my worst effort yet, 3 people say well done!
Tom wrote to me, too, & he really sussed it perfectly. He said
"it was a great blog
once you got into your stride
", (my enboldenment), recognizing exactly that I was initially struggling yesterday, until my grumpy mood passed.
I must also say that, (away from blonde) I have had a mountain of mail (well, a large hill) about the "sick" piece.
So so sick.

Yes, much better today, thanks Phil. I slept for about 14 hours straight, which may have helped.

Oh wow, did we win? Either way, thanks!
I'm SO behind with PM replies, I can't begin to tell you, I had 30 PM's yesterday alone. Think I'd better have a session on them & get up to date.

I had a 6pm-6am sleeping binge the other day too, it's amazing how it catches up with you so quick. Even when you're only sitting around at a table most of the time, you still end up super tired
After reading your blog from yesterday, I am going to have to mooch over to Starbucks before I play and pick myself up a couple sticky buns. I've not had one since I got here, far too much red meat though and I'll probably be sick of steak by the time I leave!!
