Re. your excercise dilemma:
You could always take up golf again Tony if you manage to retire.
That should stop you going gaga but it could inflict gaga upon others.

...and I just had another brain-fart. I was supposed to bet a particular bet on a game, & backed completely the wrong game.......third time I've done that in recent weeks. Luckily, the Gent who spotted it was kind enough to write to me privately, to spare my blushes, though I fessed up, obviously. Some folks actually get pleasure from publically humilating others by pointing out errors, sometimes really minor ones.
One popular blonde wrote a wonderful, but very long, Post, recently. Photos, the lot, a really nice piece. Then some wag quoted the WHOLE thing, correcting a misplaced apostrophe. That was it. Nothing else.
"Haha, you made a mistake".
Nowt queer as folk, especially on the internet.
My bloody feet & hands are forever cold, too. I wear gloves.
Gloves
, ffs, like what old people do. And a hat, whenever I go out, I wear a daft beany hat. I don't care any more how daft I look.
And indoors, I have a warmie. * Use it all day long, to try & keep my hands & feet warm.
Getting old sucks a bit.
* Warmie? Like a hot-water bottle, but instead of hot water, it has granules in it, & I just stick it in the microwave for 2 minutes. Well clever. And the risk of scolding myself with hot water is removed. Best present I've had in years.

So very true, Ralph.
I think about starting golf again almost daily. All those wonderful courses, fresh air, nature, wildlife, & 4 hours chatting with good company. And hardly anyone cheats.
Trouble is I get obsessive, addictive, & if I started again, I'd need to retire, as I'd be playing every day.
Very tempting.......jeez, the bad manners I see so often in poker does my head in.
Am in a strange mood today.

I make a noise when I sit down. I moan about the state of society. I get annoyed when I can't remember something. I occasionally agree to get something from upstairs for someone and come back down thirty seconds later having been to the loo or something and have no recollection of being asked, let alone what I was asked.
I'm 29.
It happens, Tikay. Probably is just stress/being very busy. I don't let it worry me.

With cold hands and feet, how's your blood pressure? Had it checked lately? Jack's gets high sometimes (nothing to do with me!) and he's always on about cold hands.

Busy, & stressed is part of it, yes. I did it when I was your age, but put it down to being scatty, & busy. Now, I worry.
I was looking for something - a pen - this morning. It is ALWAYS in the same place, but it had disappeared. Very odd. 20 minutes later, I found it. Exacty where it always is. How the hell does that happen?

No idea, Dawn, I don't use Doctors.
Don't expect it is perfect, but its just an inevitable symptom of ageing.
Glad to see you back on blonde. America to live? Wowzer! Enjoy.

We've got a handy little DIY machine here. More than welcome to call over during your travels and have a go. Jack uses it daily to keep track of himself. He's just said I should make sure you know I'm referring to a
blood pressure machine
. lol
America. Who'd have thunk it, huh? Wasn't sure if it was a good idea initially, but really hyped up about it now.
