Investors Report.
I need that shortcut Anrew suggested......
No luck again yesterday, either I am playing bad, or running bad. Somtimes the two are easy to confuse.
I could not get going at all yesterday, I yinged when I should have yanged, and never had a scoop all day. Don't think I did much wrong, it just never happened, & it was uphill all day.
After the Tourney, where I barely made the last 100 out of 140, I went to The Rio & played some Big O cash.
Sat with $500, flopped quads TWICE & got paid both times in first 10 minutes, lol.
Then gave a lump back, when I held BOTH nuts on the turn, & improved to nut flush on the river to go with my made wheel. Unfortunately, Villain rivered the straight flush on me, so instead of three quarters, I got quartered. Blah.
Good fun though, my first cash acton this trip so far.

Today, in just over an hour, I play the WSOP $1,500 PLO8.
Excited? Just a bit!
We get our 4,500 chips, optionally, in three tranches of 1,500, & last year I just took the 1,500 initially, & was fortunate to run them up to 4,000 before taking the other 3,000.
I've asked around, spoken to a few wise souls, & I gather it is better to take the hole 4,500 up front, or it is in most cases, so that is the decision. Probably.
I am in Brasilia, Table 50, Seat 3. Can't take a photo of the Entry Slip, as a problem has developed with my camera, see next post.....

Camera help please!
I have a Lumix Panasonic, DMC-TZ30.
It has been working fine, but I just tried to take a photo & it has somehow defaulted to taking 3D photos. (What they?).
When I try to upload these, "file not recognized", bla bla.
I do not WANT 3d Photos, just regular ones.
How do I revert to normal mode, please?

If Tony doesn't get this riddle then I'm a Dutchman.
Well,
I'm
not a Dutchman...
I'll let Tikay have the last word.
(if I'm wrong this is going to be a strange post indeed)
Haha.
Nicely done Andrew. Congratulations.

Turn the dial on the top to the red iA symbol. (Or anything else except 3D)

This is such a great attempt.

I think it's something to do with death...
I think you yourself have considered something relating to plans for when you depart (thinking outside the box for when you are in the box). This ties in with "The number is there for when you are late", 'late' as a synonym for 'departed'.
The theme also ties in with these being 'grave' words.
I think Pi probably refers to 22/7, as opposed to 3.142etc......which is probably a date reference.
Obv haven't solved it mind, especially as I don't get the Chinese reindeer reference!!

I think you asked him on 22/07/09 (year of the Chinese dragon/reindeer) when he was going to play the Main Event (process of elimination)
Amirite?

Dial? Don't see a dial. It has a button to take photos, that is all.

Ahh, THAT dial.
Sorted, thank you very much.
Wonder how it moved itself? I've never touched it. Honest.
