Ate at Prime last week for a good steak. Very nice. Have tried Fix before as well.

The blinds in the $235 at Rio are relentless, if you happen to be a fishy grinder. I don't have to worry about that anymore, mind. I'm not making it look easy, this trip!!

Just eaten a turkey croissant. It was essentially a loaf of bread disguised as a croissant and a whole turkey thinly sliced and squeezed inside it.

And it was STILL bad value.

A few tables away was Mr Beevers. He appeared to be sharing a table with a man dressed in a red tshirt, khaki shorts and bright green trainers. As loud as those trainers were, he was still managing to shout over them. Elegance was not what sprang to mind.

Why do Americans stand up when there's an all in? Even when they have the larger stack? I can almost tolerate the fist pumping, table slamming and whooping/hollerin' (tbh it really makes me laugh when we're still 1,300 players from the money!), but I find that just bizarre.

Investors Update.

Playing the Binions $200 PLO8 today, 120 runners, 40 remain, am just about aversge with 58,000.

Had over 100,000 after running incredibly hot in the first 4 or 5 levels, but then ran equally bad and gave most of them back in standard spots. Lost a chip leader pot with set of Jacks when my man, reasonably chasing two big draws, got there, which was a bit of a setback, but no complaints, think I am luck neutral on the day so far.

Had a smashing table, all sussed, but table just broke and been moved to Table Hoodie Growler Big Stack HotShots.

We are on the front foot today, and playing, by my standards, very aggro, so expect to double or bust in the next few levels.

Tally ho and all that.

Tremendous fun.

Whilst Scotty is trying to win about half a mill, I am still trying to bag $7,000, lol.

27 left here, 13 paid, have double average.

Been gambbbbbbbling.

If downtown try Hugo's Cellar for a steak (it's in the four queens).  The sommelier is from Leeds (John I think) and will find you a nice bottle of wine in your price range.
