The picture postcard scene of St Catherines Lighthouse yesterday.
How pretty is that?

I only have photos of the Fish (cod loins) version Tom.
Huge cod loin, then a tin of Tesco's finest chopped Italian toms, some radiated chopped mushrooms, add an Oxo cube & a splash of Worcester sauce, job done.
In terms of sheer bulk, I eat more when I am dieting than when binge eating bad food.
You can't say I don't live well, eh?
Bet you feel hungry now, right?
Fit for a King, that.

I have no interest in all this "earth's history" bollox, but how about this for a weird thing?
This is the cliff face on the coast by The Needles, Isle of Wight.
See those "layers", the sedimentary lines, they run diagonally, almost vertically in places.
Apparently, that is because, at some stage, x zillion years ago, that entire geological formation titled through 45 degrees.

At Alum Bay, just a mile away, home of the famous "coloured sands", the effect is even greater, the sedimentary lines run vertically, proving that the rocks all turned through 90 degrees at some stage.

Kind of weird for us to think of places like the Grand Canyon and the Sahara Desert as being underwater.

Still, becomes hard to work out how else a six foot 112million year old crocodile head ends up buried in sand in the middle of nowhere otherwise.
That's sarchosuchus, by the way. They reckon could have been about 40 feet in length.

Children may get wet
just means they are allowed to. It's an odd way of saying that the pool is open to people of all ages, but there we are.
Modal verb love ftw

I've just got back from New York - I remember you saying it was one of the places on your to do list (?)
I'd say definitely don't waste any time in going - it's one of the places in the world which really does live up to expectation. There were a few times where just walking around I couldn't help but think, "this is just so cool".

Great pics, bringing back great memories! Me and the now Mrs Milligan first went on holiday together via a cruise aboard the Thompson Celebration. Palma, Bastia, Livorno, Villefranche, Toulon, Barcelona was our itinerary. On the coach to the port I was moaning declaring " I'm the youngest here by about 100 years, this is going to be awful".. How wrong was I. It was incred, places you visit, the food, the entertainment, the luxury. It was like 7 holidays in one.
Here she is in all her glory:

and here I am on the deck with burnt shins after a day walking around Pisa.

Just seen George from Luton post the GUKPT festival schedule
Surely you have to make it down for these 2?
Wed 16 Oct at 7.30 pm
£ 200 + 20 No Limit Hold'em - Six Max
Thu 17 Oct at 6.00 pm
£ 150 + 15 Pot Limit Omaha
And I'm sure there will be the usual DC running too.
Vinny might even let you buy him dinner....
