Another picture page - this time advertising a Wild Autumn festival in Dumfries & Galloway (my home region).

I look at these pics & am really discouraged at taking wildlife pictures - there are so many great ones - think I'll just collect the memories.

Agree the inside of Grand Central is impressive, as are the insides of some of the UK stations.
But the station which I have visited that looks the best on the outside is this one.

Reminds me of Reading Tonji - bridges at one end - building up the centre of platform, found this which looks similar too.
Although this one suggests there'd be more to the right....

You could well be right with that Rod, frankly I've no idea, looks like any generic station to me.
It was part of a collection of late victorian stereo photographs bought recently, having a great time cataloging them.

Maybe where Vegas got much of its inspiration? It is Kuala Lumpur old railway station, Malaysia. It was built in 1920, the new Sentral station can also look good from some angles.

I thought it was The Venetian when I first saw it.
If you think about it, almost every major Casino in Vegas is modelled on something elsewhere. Paris, NY NY, Venetian, Rio, Monte Carlo, Caesars, & so on. All very peculiar.
