I was reading extracts from the book somewhere and it emerges that Morrissey still holds a huge grudge against people because the Smiths debut album was kept off the no 1 spot by the Thompson Twins because Rough Trade, the small independent record label, couldn't produce enough cassettes in time
Big fan of the Smiths but then I was a spotty and morose 15 year old in 1982 when they emerged!

Went to a Morrison's for the first time today to do a big shop. Found all the trollies were chained up and you had to deposit a £1 coin. Anyway I only had notes so wtf happens now? Went inside and asked the security guard who told me he worked for a security company and not Morrison's. So went to Customer Services but nobody was there. After waiting around I decided to go and get a packet of crisps and pay at the self-service. Queued for about 10 minutes. Glad I did as well because nobody appeared at customer services.
Got 2x £2 coins in my change.
Went to Sainsbury's.

Occasionally, I forget how weird chess people are.
And then it all comes back to me.

Thanks Ryan.
That link does not open for me at present, I'll try again later.
I'll reply to your PM shortly, too.
Good luck at the GUKPT Luton today, time you won one of those, you are due.

Planes &
shit?
Look here Mr Crater, that's twice you've used that expression. You need to know, I find it demeaning, belittling & insulting to a very important subject - transport. You'd be lost without transport, show a little respect. I hope I make myself quite clear.
The news item was interesting though, but for all the wrong reasons. Never seen anything so daft or impractical, & then the eccentric who designed it comes out with "
it gets a lot of attention, people do stare at it
". Who'd have thought?

Morning Young Lady.
Fine thanks. Lots of plates spinning, & am dropping a few, & age is noticeably taking its toll - I get very grumpy once or twice a year these days - but all good really. I've actually had a very good week, work-wise, or I think I have. Will know for sure on Monday, but I think my pregnancy has been confirmed, if so, my baby will be due in around 4 months time. Exciting, eh?
Be great to see you next weekend, there are satellites every day, get yourself sorted. I'm reliably informed it will be a soft tournament ("full of donks & idiots" as one Pro described this Tourney last year), & we all know that Sky Poker is a soft site, which explains why millions of players play there every day. Easy money, see. What could possibly go wrong?
Sports Betting, Fred? Not exactly millions, no. About 4% ROI at present over a very reasonable sample size, so very acceptable really. Good fun, too!
How are you? And are you on terms with your beloved brother this week? I do hope so, life's too short, it really is. Se you next weekend, try & be there please.

Hi Tikay,
hope all is well with you.
I happened upon something the other day that I thought might be of interest. I live very close to RAF Northolt, and quite often see plane spotters and the like hanging around. One evening this week as Hannah and I were walking past there seemed to be a lot more activity than usual with several people taking pictures with long lenses through the fencing near the runway and, further down near the entrance, a fair sized crowd of people gathered round and a long queue of cars waiting to get in. Hannah wanted to hang around as her train of thought somehow led her to conclude that Lady Gaga or someone of her ilk must be due to land there
A bit of research after I got home told me that they were holding a 'night shoot' - an opportunity for people to come in and take pictures of nice (I guess) planes after dark. I could just see you there among all the other
anoraks
enthusiasts

I know that you have a love of achitecture so you might find this interesting although there could possibly be some tenuous links to other (artistic) things which you may find contentious although my main man Paul Klee did not.
