Mr Kendall, I am in very good health thank you (perhaps a little stressed out).  Just a ton of real life stuff on my plate atm, still trying to keep it all upbeat though (see diary for further deets).  Haven't really had too much time to play recently, but will hopefully be able to resume service as normal once I get my life sorted out.

I thought 'putz' was a really old-school internet insult (like really popular in the early days of the internets).  In my opinion, in times of serious rage, you can't beat the good old 'diagf'.

Can there be, by definition, such a thing? The internet only arrived 20 years ago!

Can't say I'd ever heard or seen the word before. I really must get out more.

I hope your real-life stresses soon resilve themselves. I do read your Diary, & in fact I read almost all the Diaries here, but you seemed upbeat enough to me.

I don't really get the abusing of fish, but can understand it if they have lost a big pot.  But why on Earth do people abuse the bad players when they win.

I haven't played a lot on Full Tilt until recently, but there is a $26 plo8 game there which you can re-enter on an evening.  My name in Tilt isn't the same as Stars, so some of the regs won't recognise me.  So to them I am a noob.  The amount of abuse I have got on that account is incredible.  The numbers of players have been falling on Stars in this game for the last couple of years, yet a newbie starts playing on Tilt and they call him an idiot.  Just so incredibly short sighted of them.

You see, I LOVE those.

I think it is just the banal unoriginality of the usual stuff which makes me think that those who utter it need to take a good luck at themselves.

Wretched, beastly, odious little toads.

It was weird, I LOST the hand. The call still looked good to me, it was just a standard cooler really.

Takes all sorts I suppose.

Nincompoop is right up there, and whatever happened to dolt?  Need to put a few of these together and start using them when talking to my daughter.  We need a revival.

I bet spending an evening with this guy is a bundle of fun.

He's the recently-crowned World Memory Champion, for about the eighth time. Think it was held in Croydon, of all places, which strikes an odd chord somehow.

Not sure it appeals as a spectator sport though.

Ooh, nincompoop, love that one. Never heard of "dolt".

Troglodyte & oik are good, too. Quite like oik actually.

Might try some of these on the next Live Update, be fun to see the bemused replies.

I think it was recently used in Big Bang Theory, but I might be wrong about that.

Nigella Lawson attended Court yesterday, in that matter regarding Mr Saatchi.

I have not the slightest interest in their domestic dispute or tittle tattle, but, of their type, the photographs of her arriving at Court yesterday struck me as very, very, powerful indeed, amongst the most powerful & striking images of their type I can recall.

Note the posture, the "chin up", the defiant "stare at me all day, I don't care" sort of thing. Perfectly dressed for the occasion, too. So often it is "head down, no eye-contact" in these situations. A strikingly beautiful young Lady, too.

I doubt she could have presented herself better, ever.

Absolutely LOVED those photos for what they said.

I do get the impression she is not a young Lady to be messed with. Get the wrong side of Ms Lawson, & life might just get a little difficult.

I believe it is, yes. I checked via Urban Dictionary, & Wiki, which confirmed that.

I'm sure you are correct as to the www, though the pedantry (or should it be pedancy?), such a feature of forums, grates a little.
