I'm not bad with numbers but I have never understood the infinity hotel concept.
Why the need for such complication when every new guest can just go in the room next to the last one?
You do realise Redbull is successful because it is addictive like crack!
It also probably has less health benefits!

Well I'd heard as much, but I never knew as a fact.
I'd certainly agree it can't be healthy. As I noted, nature has it's own energy drink - sleep.
All the more amazing they've made such a success of Red Bull.
Some things I just don't get.

It's a fair question.
The problem is you can't get to the last room. Plus, if you try it the other way, you can't move the existing occupant of room two up an infinite number of rooms, which is what you'd need to do in order to accommodate an infinite number of new guests. There is no "infinity + 2", but if you double the room number of each guest, for any number you try it with, there will be a room number and that leaves behind a room either side for a new guest. If you apply that to an infinite number of guests, there must be an infinite number of rooms available.
As for the music thing, I blame the lady on a white horse going to Banbury Cross.

Very similar to Coca-cola which originally had cocaine in it.

Good spot, thanks John.
If only it were not narrated by Sandi Toksvig.

So, F-35 pilots have bells on their toes.
Makes sense.

Agreed.
I dont easily take against folks I've never met, & I'm sure she is a lovely person, but something about her just grates with me, maybe she comes across as a tad too smug.
Bit it was worthwhile, Jeff Bezas is quite a character, I can't help but admire folks who create such huge enterprises out of nothing, he must have amazong vision.
Think my list of "The 10 Businesman I Most Admire" needs to be expanded to 20.
I'll have to slot him in somewhere, probably right between Michael O'Leary & Mike Ashley.

My 6 year old daughter gets infinity or as much as she needs to.
I explained to her how if you multiplied anything by infinity you got infinity.
She came back instantaneously with what is zero x infinity. Think I have tough times ahead.
Ask me about Simpson's chess.
Zero is just as fascinating a concept as infinity. Well to me at any rate. I heartily recommend this book to anyone with an interest

Have you seen the Jim Al-Khalili programmes, Everything and Nothing, Alun?
Brilliant two parter on BBC FOUR last year.
