The clue (1 down) is "secretly getting uplift from bras or bustiers", which suggests "Cup Hook".
The carthorse clue would start with the fifth letter ("O") of that.
Looks like Posh Bloke, The Milkman & eventually Tighty, were all correct.
Back to Roundabout Appreciation for me.
Wait, what? Why would it suggest cup hook?

Pretty sure the answer to 1 down is Sub Rosa, but the O bit still applies

More likely SUB ROSA. Bold bit backwards (as it's a down clue, it will read upwards = uplift)

here you go...
Loved that.
Quite something that Ivor could become so famous for saying the same short thing, again & again, with exactly the same inflection, for so many years.
Rather reminds me of the football results chap, James Alexander Gordon, he had his own fan club & everything.
On the teeeee.....

abs pissing myself here, you managed to get 5 pages of replies by posting a crossword clue that you had the wrong answer to?
Was worth the read tho to see how Tal came to the word Orchestral. Note to self, make sure I am sitting near Tal and Alun at the next Blonde bash quiz.
