Monday Quiz # 1
Who Posted this on blonde, & why?
"boom. Double boom and boom. Get the fuck in"
Arbboy when he heard who won the DtD Deepstack last night?
Someone is very witty this morning! Top class Simon for this early on a Monday morning! It actually could have referred to either of the two characters who were heads up as the bird inflicted the most redic slow roll call on me in my 9 years of playing live poker at dtd a couple of years ago as well. Took her 8 minutes to find a call with 2nd set at level 2 of a dtd deep stack which you could re enter and after calling pre flop for circa 15% of her stack to set mine with a small pair to a 4bet.
After standing up and sitting down at least three times during the thought process she finally managed to make the call which should have took less than half a second. She makes an arber look risk loving!
She got an even bigger mouthful of abuse live and in person than the celebrated online ginger nerd attack!
I'm really sorry if I've got this wrong, but are you saying you gave some girl a bollocking because she wasn't sure what to do?

She is a semi pro type player and a dtd reg (ie she knows what she is doing). I wouldn't do this to a casual female player. She just wasted 8 minutes of my life for no reason at all after paying to hit a set she hit it then went on the most pointless slowroll in history.
History now but it was funny to see her and 'ginger nerd' heads up yday when redsimon mentioned it.

No history at all i just think she is an uber nit and needs the stone cold nuts to get it in at level 1/2/3 of an mtt. It was more comical how much she paid pre flop to hit her set as a % of her stack than the slowroll. That's what made the slowroll so tilting once she had hit her set.
Anyway enough of that nonsense!

None of my business I know but if she need the stone cold nuts and she didn't have them then that's obv why she found the decision so tough.
No point in abusing her for nittiness that I'm sure you're happy to exploit in other situations.

Just looked up the results, can't see the lady in question as a nit based on the, admittedly limited time I've spent at a table with her.
On a happier note I see that Vinodh got 5th.

What we never realised, is that we banned the account by IP Address, not username or e-Mail, & in dong so, we banned every single member of blonde who was at the Irish Open, including me & whoever else was doing the Update, (Jen, I think), so not a soul at the Irish Open could access blonde, & the blondes lost their Live Update

Thanks Rich.
I'm amazed they still fly those U-2 things. They must cost billions per year in upkeep. They first flew 60 years ago, which is incred, really.
The photographer geezer must have had a decent camera, too, amazing clarity, all things considered.

Then & now.
Thry've changed a bit, & so has comedy.
A whole generation of TV comics made their name by using catch-phrases. Utter a catch phrase, & everyone laughed.
Cannon & Ball did....
Rock on Tommy
You little liar
Norman Vaughan had a purler.
Swinging, dodgy.....
Brucey had (still has?)...
Nice to see you, to see you nice......
Paul Daniels had...
Not a lot

This beaut docked in Felixstowe yesterday, one of a new generation of super-sized Container Ships.
It had a cargo of 19,100 containers.
Lay them end to end, & they would stretch well over 100 miles, further than, say, from Felixstowe to London by road.
It has 3 "sister ships" & one of them will arrive at Felixstowe, fully loaded, every week.
Most of the freight comes from China.
It's just mind-boggling, how much stuff China exports these days.
