Flight delayed.

Delay quoted as 20 minutes, as predicted. Will take the overs on 40 minutes. FR24 and FlightAware knew.

Still, on the bright side, that's saved me $220 this afternoon.

Got me a cracking book in London News Company (that's really W H Smith under a non de plume) about the history of the underworld, by Mad Frankie Fraser. Kinda loved Frankie. Don't think he went to Church too often, but he did have a moral code. Of sorts.

Best to get all the technical issues sorted before I fly out.  No rush Virgin, make sure the plane is 100% before today's flight.

Poor old Jeeves having to fold for four hours whilst waiting for you to arrive and do exactly the same for the next four.

You finished Catch 22 yet?

He was hoping to do it, but he's worried that he might enjoy it so much he misses the call for his flight. Alternatively, if he keeps an ear out for the boarding announcement, he might not get into the story well enough.

Sadly, I gave up on Catch 22. See Tal's explanation.

Struggling with the Buffett book, too, "Tap Dancing to Work". Never seen a book with such small font, or typeface, it's microscopic. Read the small print? No choice.

I was just about to type that.

Hope you get the lot Tony, well plenty anyway.

I'm looking forward to my breakfast squeezes.

Get a Kindle. You can make the typeface any size you like.

Cement is made by crushing limestone rock and superheating it and god knows what else - so I doubt you did that !!
What you probably did was mix cement with ballast and water to make concrete or sand and water to make mortar !!
Highly technical stuff tho plus numerous cups of tea as a minimum requirement to get close to perfection

Ahh ok. Well we used a concrete mixer for sure. Two buckets ballast, half a bucket sharp sand, half a bucket cement, half a bucket of water. Mix it together like a big cake.

I probably wouldn't be too pleased if I looked out the window and saw Vin working on my plane!
