That's a lovely book, but all of his books are very good IMO.

We are now on break after level 8, so re-entries and late regs are finished, and the levels increase to 45 minutes now.

Blinds will be 500-1,000, then 600-1,200, and 800-1,600.

Got 35,000, so in reasonable shape.

The plasma is hopelessly out of date, but it says 132 entries, of which 105 remain - but in fact there are only 8 tables left, some of which only have 8 players, so I would reckon 60 max remain.

Off we go again. Good fun this.

Must be super soft, Chompy is still in, too.

Claude's Bar probably isn't, which may, or may not, be a bad thing...

Only Tony, and a couple others going this year, so I think the barman's kids will be visiting the Nugget pool for the summer, instead of a fortnight at Disneyworld.

A near treble up puts us back in the game, 30,000 @ 600-1,200.

Turned the nuts for a 100,000 pot, but got 2 outered on the river, so back down to 20,000.

.....and before I could gamble, the dinner break was upon us, so I have to return in an hour with what will be 7 Bigs.

First hand after the break, made it 7,000 (from 15,000 so pot stuck) with....

 

Got called, saw a horrible flop......

 

Shoved anyway, got looked up by Q-Q-x-x, my Kings held, and it came runner runner clubs for a baby flush too.

32,000 @ 1k-2k.
