Off we go again, Golden Nugget today.
20,000 chips, half hour blinds, begin at 50-100, with re-entry or late reg until level 9. Don't think I will consider a re- entry, not enough value.
Barely 30 entrants so far, but I guess it will end up with 100 or so.
If things go wrong, will head over to Orleans for their 7pm $100 PLO on a recovery mission.

Planet Hollywood's cardroom is absurdly dark. I've also played in noisier chess tournaments.
What an odd experience.

Very dark, compounded by black felt on the tables and black seats. Not an enjoyable ambience, IMO.

Yikes, we are playing 4 handed (other tables are as much as 8 handed) and this is the most aggro 4 handed table ever.
Crash helmets and safety belt ON.

Lost a chunk already.
It was opened to 300, called in 2 spots, and I 3 bet with......
2 callers.
Flop was......
I lead for 75% of the pot, and Mr Aggro Busy moves all in.
I dwell for an age, as I suspect he may be pushing me around, but I don't have many ways of improving if he genuinely has it, so I fold.
Nest hand he 3 bets pre, and barrels every street, it goes to showdown and he turns over......
10-10-7-7
And he rivered the 7, to bust aces man.
He is well caked up now, and sat to my immediate left. Interesting times lay ahead.
We are 8 handed now, which suits me better with this particular table.

Me too, Boo, but this is PLO, so it's Scoopio or Bustio.

A fellow in his twenties arrives. In shades. Occupies seat 4. Plays a pot with five red cards on the board. Check calls the river. Opponent shows his hand. Two red cards. Fellow stares for a while at the board. He now asks the dealer what opponent has. Not by using words (that would be silly); just gestures towards the exposed cards.
If only there were an easier way to see in the gloom...
Do wins, squire.

Back to starting stack after making my annual airball 3 bet.
It turns out, as I Suspected earlier, that Mr Aggro Busy is actually Mr Full Of Shit.
It was really rather enjoyable to poke my index finger right in his mean little eye.

With hindsight, it's clear I missed my chance for a full 2XUp earlier against Freddie FOS.
He has been caught at it 3 times now, just pushing folks around with air.
Anyway, too late now.
Level 3 just started, 100-200, we have 21,700, from 20,000 starting.
58 entrants so far, but late reg & re-entry continues through Level 9.

Made the first break safely, level 5 now, 200-400.
89 entrants so far, this will comfortably exceed 100.
Raised up early in level 5 with.......
Two callers, including FOS.
It comes.......
I make it 4,000, FOS sets me in.

I call, he has bottom two, no other redraw, and we hold.
31,000.
