Moments later, I go to war with seat 5, who is chipped up and mean, after I raise with......

  two hearts three clubs

After this flop......

...the action gets heavy, and by the blank high non flushing turn we are all-in.

On their backs, and I need to avoid a spade for a full double up.

Chop chop.

Unlucky, almost the dream start.

I find this...... Two Clubs Two Diamonds

We make it 8,500 and get one client.

Flop is interesting;

Check check.

He bets the  turn, we call.

He bets the blank high river, we fold, and have given back 18,000.

Yup. At least I have not "frozen", and tried to stall to the money. Might be better if I slow down a bit.....

Yeah, seems like you have had a few hands early, unlucky not to have snagged a little cushion in one of those...

Next, with an almost identical hand, I open again. (a-2-3-10cc) but heavy artillery behind and I dwell fold.

It was Aces v Seat 5 with A-3-5-5 cchh, and it came no low, 4 spades, and the monster in seat 5 busts seat 3.

Frantic stuff.

If I had got stubborn and overplayed my hand there I go busto.

With low only hands, if I am reasonably chipped, I prefer to see a flop before going silly.

With just 44 left after an early flurry of bustos, one table has broken, and our table breaks next.

Level 14 complete, but not a good one for us, not at all, we have 57,000 going into level 15 @ 2,000-4,000.

42 left, so 8 players departed in the very first level.

Plan A is in the muck, Plan B has been dusted off ready for action if no improvement. (No more splashing around, tighten the ranges, and if we play a hand, we will play for stacks.).

It'll be a struggle to even cash now, so we may as well go down all guns blazing.

We can wait a little longer, couple of orbits maybe.

A hoohah kicks off after a split pot is awarded to the high hand.

The dealer looks confused when she is told it is high low, and seeks assurance from the Floor. Smiley

Unfortunately, the (almost) victim of the injustice, the Thai chap in seat 4, hurls terrible amuse at the hapless female dealer. No need for that, no need at all, blame her Manager, not her.

Thanks Marky, Craig.

Radio silence for a bit, need to fully focus until we resolve this little crisis of lost chippage.

Seat 5, who began the day as table Chippie, has been way too active with a really wide range, and has come a cropper, having overstepped the mark once too often, and is down to 30,000.

Not that it helps us much, mind.

Anyway, circumstances being what they are, we won't be trying to hang in until the money, it'll be double or bust time long before then.

Plan C, and with just 8 bigs, have had to widen our range considerably.

Two shoves have got through so far, bit of breathing space.

53,000 @ 2,500-5,000.

38 left.
