Sorry to hear about Gill's redundancy, and hope she gets back into something she enjoys quickly.

Not before a well deserved summer in the states Wink

Apropos your memory-jogging mention of the 200-value chips at Naps. Sheffield I have just noticed that my souvenir one peso coin from Cuba with an image of Che Guevara on one side is actually a three peso coin - imagine that - A THREE PESO COIN!!!

I don't like that concept. It gets on my threepenny bits.

That is of course a fair point but having thought for so many years it was a one-peso coin I was in shock.

Where's Methuselah Senior? He'll understand.

If you are referring to me, Ralph, I'm working all weekend, quite close to you actually, at SPT Notts in the Alea.

And yes, I completely understand the 3 peso coin thing. We were only talking about the Naps Sheffield 200 denom chip yesterday here, as I met up with all the old crew from Gala Notts back in the day. Shared a table with one Mr A Abdulla actually.

The diary went a bit quiet my end for all sorts of reasons, as you will likely know, Sky Poker were sold to PokerStars a few weeks ago. Interesting times, to say the least.....

Have some other real-life stuff on the go too.

Anyway, will reply to comments & questions  - thank you all - from the last few weeks soonest, starting this weekend or maybe Monday. Am gonna be working up here until early hours of Monday, but then a few days where I will try to catch up.

Meanwhile, a quick question for you.

NO GOOGLING, & (here's a clue) Methuselah is disqualified from answering, as he'll know the answer for sure.

I was researching Seattle & Vancouver, (what a thing Wiki is once you start surfing it) & alighted on "Pike Place Market" in Seattle.

It's allegedly the world's 31st most popular Tourist attraction. I'm calling absolute bullshit on that, but never mind, that's not the point.

Wiki stated;

The Market is built on the edge of a steep hill, and consists of several lower levels located below the main level. Each features a variety of unique shops such as antique dealers, comic book and collectible shops, small family-owned restaurants, and one of the oldest head shops in Seattle.

WITHOUT GOOGLING, what do you think a "head shop" is?

And no, Ralph is not allowed to answer. Pretty sure he'll be all over this one.

Tops for engines?

Toilets for ships?

Heavy bits for hammers?

Bead shop with a dodgy neon sign?
