Possibly, yes. Here's a better one. Most of the photos were mine, but I used google for a few. It's just surreal that that whole place sits bang slap in the middle of nowhere.
And yes, you know your Chinese food - it was Orange Chicken, which I'd never heard of before. Lemon Chicken, yes, not orange though.

I didn't have a clue, but just looked so bright. Like even brighter than the strip.
Don't let anyone chinese hear you say that. It's american asian food, as I was told in no uncertain terms last time I referred to Panda as chinese food
Beijing Beef is the other good one. Probably the two unhealthiest options, which makes sense.

And unlike the UK, if you wanna go walk on the track, go ahead, help yourself.
Isn't this just the most exciting thing ever?
Reckon this is a great photo. I look a bit like Bruce Springstein, or some symbol of masculinity, stood there straddling the track.

Oh, & if you can tear your eyes away from that photo of me momentarily, far left you can see the shipping trolley big wheel sculpture.
What a photo, huh?
You are like an advert for Daz or some such.
Too bright, it hurts my eyes.

Top photography. I particularly enjoyed the ribbon metaphor. Positively Brysonesque.
Are you away today?

No, tomorrow morning Simon.
We are on the 0620 Southwest.com to LA, then get the Flyaway bus to Union Station, followed by a trip to Olvera Street, a famous Street Market in LA.
Then we jump on the 12.36 Surfliner down the coast to Oceanside.

You're right about the sleepers, I've bought, sold, and used quite a few in my time, then about 15 years ago they decided that creasote was carcenagenic and banned the sale of it, along with creasote-treated wood.
They never really enforced it though, treated sleepers are still available and if you say you are a professional user you can still buy creasote.

Have you ever thought of having your legs creasoted?

Great pictures, great words and a respite from setting fire to staker's money, a win-win all round.
