I reckon you saved chips there tikay. No doubt the nitty elderly lady would be snap calling any pfr, and the action on the flop doesn't change.

As it turned out, yes, the butchery probably saved me money.
I had a near identical hand an orbit later, and played it properly this time. Cost me 2,000 chips.

Bad one.
Have......
And we see this knee trembler:
We are 3 way and I play it fast, but it runs out
, which is as bad as it gets.
That cost me 7,000, so suddenly I am down to 9,900, and will have to change tack now.
Blinds currently 300-600, so out of a clear blue sky am suddenly in shit street with 15 Bigs.
A second bullet now becomes a consideration if I can't find a successful spot.
At present, that would be a reasonable 25 Bigs, so it's not terrible.
Anyway, let's see if we can get a double first.

Bad level for Team Blonde, Doobs just got in it super good for a 48,000 pot but a horror run out ensued and he lost the lot, so he's now on Bullet #2 territory.

Another table move, back to my original starting table, but surprisingly, not one of the original incumbents remain. Except me, now.

Find lovely double suited Aces (A-2-4-J-J) but can't get any action.
Then
and its 4 way to the
flop and a bet gets the job done.
14,000.

Beat Of The Trip incoming.......
3 way to this flop, I have raised pre and collected two punters.
So I have the nut straight, nut flush draw and nut low draw.
It's bet then raised and I'm auto all-in. The bettor folds.
One caller, he has A-2-6-6-X for the same low and a set.
On their backs, and the fella not in hand says "I folded 9-9".
Turn improves me even further,
to give me nut flush for the made nut high and nut low draw.
The dealer then somehow finds this river.....
That's as brutal as it gets, and it's the 2nd time this trip rivered quads have done me.
Anyway, I played the hand just fine, so don't feel too bad, though nought for plenty is starting to sting.

Perhaps Gill could play out the rest of the stake?
Sorry state of affairs when you have to rely on Marky to get you out.
That's an understatement

Did Marky McBock rock up for that?

So, hello bullet #2. Which lasted exactly 2 hands.
I'll spare you the details, but it was a pretty standard 3 way affair and I flopped the high but could not get rid of the other two, one was on the flush draw and the other was on the high. They both got there and I'm out of the door, tail between legs.
Big one tomorrow, WSOP PLO8. Have ordered some run good.
Night all.
