Congrats on the renewed contract Tikay enabling you to continue doing what you love. I'm going to retire at the end of the year to do what I love, travelling.
I've watched all those series and how good are they. I tried the wire and couldn't get on with it for some reason.

I can't quite put my finger on why it's so enjoyable but it is!

really enjoyed the Wire first time round and recently went for a rewatch. I don't think it aged particularly well. Where as something like Sopranos or Breaking Bad i can watch over and over again.
Sopranos 7 times

I actually recommended The Wire to Tony but stopped watching it myself after series 2. For me it just seemed to get a bit slow.

Thanks Kev.
I really really wanted to get my Contract renewed, I don't know what I'd do without work, I genuinely love it. Golf is becoming a bit of a prob as I love that too, but so far I've managed to balance them both.
Two rounds of golf booked next week, plus going down to Brighton for an SPT, so playing poker for 3 days. WAL, eh?

Looks quite decent actually.

Incidentally, Tom's a bit weird - he intensely dislikes checking these things out first on Wiki or whatever. I just ignore him.

Similar here Tom. Plus I found that lady Detective character was a bit naff - bad acting & not a realistic character, just a stereotypical 90's/2000's female police officer, assumed to be dumb but oh gosh, fancy that she's actually really rather bright, who'd have thought sorta thing. And of course she got shot in the throat so there were rivers of crocodile tears from her colleagues.

From more recent shows this is excellent on Apple -
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt11280740/
Quite a few good shows on there, Defending Jacob is also a very good watch, Slow Horses is good, and The New Look just started and very interesting so far.

I swerved The Crown until recently. Yet it’s such a beautifully crafted thing. Well written, great acting, just gets better and better.
Getting older now so glass of sherry and episode of The Crown is a banging night.
