All that said, I had THE most enjoyable day & my confidence is restored to a degree.

Poker is great, isn't it? Such a test of character.

OK, gotta go, they are chucking me out of my room.

Hi Tony

You most certainly have not "butchered" your stack. You have what looks like an average stack. Perfectly playable. And you have only dropped down from above average. Not a chip leading stack.

You have given detail about any decisions that, with the benefit of hindsight, turned out to be unwise. Something completely normal in Big O And no detail at all about the rather more hands where, either by luck or skill (almost certainly a bit of both) your stack has grown. Be just as proud of your good plays as critical of your bad. Well done today. And good luck tomorrow.

PS. You mentioned you were "pushing 80". From which direction?  Smiley

I'll do a bit of googling in the morning, look up their Hendon's, but the first name I spotted was Seat 1, Nathaniel Weisner. There's a gang of us who play all the split pot Omaha stuff in Vegas every year & we all get along well, and I've known Nathan for some years, in fact we use the same hairdresser. He's a lovely fella actually.
