Tourney structures and, mostly , the schedules at Luton are a great success I believe, and the biggest success of the Players forum

Yes, I heard he was unwell. Please give him my best, & let's hope he's soon back on his feet. He is tremendous fun.

Personally, I believe they are as good as any in the UK.

Tony,
I found this nice link, if you keep pressing next there are some great pics. The truly awful thing about Gaudi is that on completing his first wing after about 20 years of building he went into the street to get a view from ground level, kept stepping backwards to get a better angle and backed into the path of a vehicle that killed him.
The building is so complex that they are still building it now.

returning to the uk, I visited the town of Hereford for the first time last year. Odd town, very insular, very army of course
I went round the cathedral, and it was stunning. It's cavernous inside, and recently refurbed on the outside. Architecturally superb I thought

The head of the CIA is due to testify to two key congressional intelligence committees, after it emerged tapes of two interrogations had been destroyed.
Gen Michael Hayden will face questioning amid ongoing concern over why the tapes were wiped in 2005. Some suggest a possible torture cover-up.
The CIA and the US justice department are investigating the tape destruction.
Meanwhile, an ex-CIA agent has defended the use of "water-boarding", which critics say amounts to torture.
Speaking to ABC News, John Kiriakou said the technique, which simulates drowning, helped "break" a key al-Qaeda suspect.
The suspect, Abu Zubaydah, was said to be one of the men questioned in the deleted footage.
A Palestinian, he was captured in Pakistan in 2002 and sent to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.
Mr Kiriakou said the day after water-boarding was used on Abu Zubaydah, the detainee told his interrogator that Allah had visited him in his cell during the night and told him to co-operate.
And the Americans wonder why the Middle East remains a powder-keg? God help any Nation which does unto Americans that which they do to others.

Yes, a classic case of do as I say not as I do, I wonder if they had tried that tactic in the 'Fallon trial' they might have got something for their 13 million sduideroonies?

Imagine how dangerous Americans would be if someone gave them geography lessons

How about this from the Miami Dolphins linebacker Channing Crowder when the Dolphins played the Giants at Wembley.
His comments make me really question the education that students receive at the University of Florida. Here's what he said when talking about the trip to London:'
"I couldn't find London on a map if they didn't have the names of the countries. I swear to God. I don't know what nothing is. I know Italy looks like a boot. I learned that. I know London Fletcher. We did a football camp together. So I know him. That's the closest thing I know to London. He's black, so I'm sure he's not from London. I'm sure that's a coincidental name."

Tonight I went across to The Western, as I'm stuck in London, working, for a few days at Feltham.
My LP ( = Luck Pendalum), which was on the fullest "GOOD" extent last night, swung the other way tonight, & my K-K all-in pre got LP'd by A-9 of all things.
The Western really is a nice little Venue, well organised, decent structures, nice folks. I stil can't get my head round it's Legality, or otherwise, though, & this whole Licensed Venue thing, & The GC's frantic inaction, baffles me totally.
I just know Rob Yong had to spend million to get clearance, & yet venues such as The Western, claim (& I don't disbelieve them) to be wholly Legal.
All very odd, but I must say, The Western is a terrific Venue, very homely, with a nice atmo.
"Dr" Tom Sambrook, one of my Sky Poker colleagues, was there, looking a little quizzical at me, as was I at him, as he's pretty much given up Live Poker these days. "Where's the private Tourney for James?" he asked. "James" is a Producer at Sky, who's invited Tom & I (& of course many others at Sky) to a Private Tourney at The Western to celebrate his 30th Birthday. NEXT Tuesday......... Tsk, tsk Dr Tom.
