Well Done & tough luck to Dingdell, who played brilliantly at Luton tonight to Final as Chip-Mummy. Her game has come on a bomb in recent weeks.
Sadly, it alll went wrong on the Final, & she exited in 6th, I think, for £100. She-a-knocking on the Winners-Door.
She was quiet "busy" in the Final, but kept finding herself pot-committed by Shorties, & obliged to make "maths calls", all of which fell badly for her.
A Deal was proposed with 5 left, equal chop, but due to a bit of bad blood beteeen two players, was rejected by one.
As soon as Steve Kirk busted Mick in 3rd place - giving him a 145k to 95k chip lead over me Heads-Up, he suggested an equal chop, £1,200 each netto after some "deal money" for 6th to 9th had been taken care of.
We also had a 12 man Last-Longer, in which Compo managed to bust out in the first 15 minutes, & 4 of us carved it up in the end, all getting 6/4 our dough.
I run good.
Tony arrived at the final table with not much (standard) and turned it into a choppity chop. I sat down as chip leader and took the shavings from the floor...I was agressive until Mick decided to come over the top and then I lost my nerve a bit and went and hid in my shell - started playing Aces and Kings only and being a complete girl.
Tikay managed to win his races, I managed to distribute my chips between the others and propell them forward. Whatever Tikay does I don't think can be taught but if only I knew what it was! Sigh....
get a room you two, its disgusting all this flirting in public.
Hush you. She thinks I'm Gazza.

I am at Feltham today. We are recording, after three Pilot Shows, the first edition of a new Show, "STACKED -UP", a Cash-Game "League" between Teams. Each Team starts with a set amount of cash each week - as much as they want - & the winner, after 6 Shows, is the Team with the best ROI. Norman is the Presenter-Bloke, & I'm the water-carrier. This week's Team is named "Hustlers", or "H$stl£rs" as the graphics have written it. We record (Presenters & Analysts on rotation) each Tuesday, & it goes out the next Tuesday.
We have been in the Studio since about 4pm, but there are a few techo issues right now, so we are on a short break while they fiddle with buttons. "Block-Through" (technical rehearsal) follows, then the 2 hour recording starts at 6.30pm. Allegedly.
We have been doing "The Open for over a year now - the 500th episode is next month - & that's all routine stuff now. But there's a huge buzz in the Gallery today. 11 Staff are in there in front of terminals & control panels, plus 2 in the Sound-Booth, 4 Camerapeeps, a floor manager, & 3 guests, & on top of that, 4 Executive Suits - including Miami Vic, & our lovely Skrikera, are overseeing everything. The atmo is electric.
When we are done - hopefully before 9pm - Matt Broughton & myself will be playing "The Open" (not Televised this evening, as they can't reset the Studio in time), & after, one assumes, busting out of that, going on various SNG Tables & playing until about Midnight.
I stay at Heathrow this evening, have a Sky Meet at Midday, & do "The Open" tomorrow evening, with Michelle Orpe, & I stay over again for a Heathrow Meet at 0930 on Thursday.
Tomorrow's "The Open" Guests are Mother Hen & the lovely Mathilde - that should be rather good, methinks.
There's a Mini-Fessie in Blackpool on Friday to Sunday - I might take a look at the Schedule & Structure, as I have a few blank days.

.....There's a 3 way Pot, involving Expressman, Sicilian (I think, sorry, awful at putting faces to Online names) & Dave Courteney...".
Misread Alert. Sorry, it was Dave Colton, not Sicilian, as Jim has pointed out in a PM to me.
Mistaken for Dave Colton !!!!...Tikay ...I may never forgive you ...LOL

Unbelievably busy last two days, but fun busy, all at Feltham.
Spoke to Chili today - she played on blonde last night & won the $6k Guaranteed outright! I gather it's a beautifuly structured Tourney, & if I ever get any time at home - & thus Online - I'll give it a whirl.
I am doing tonight's Show, so will be Offline in a mo. We have Simon Trumper & Mathilde as Guests, with Michelle Orpe as Presenter.
Last night was a bit fraught.....hopefully tonight will be better.
I have a Meet at 0930 in the morning, so I'm staying over again tonight, at Jury's Hotel, Heathrow. Exactly 100 yards from where a quite magnificent aeroplane is parked up, never to be commercially used again. I stood & looked at it, from 50 yards away, for over an hour this morning. Magnifique.

The Concorde is in the top 10 surely?

Hmm......it's an extraordinary aeroplane, but it's a long way from "Civil Enginerering", which I thought was the brief?
But if there were an Engineering Top 10, it would merit consideration. I find it quite odd that it was a Commercial failure, actually.
