Top Man, thank you.

What do I need to do now? My Road-Tax has expired, & the car is at Gatters.

This is the "Champions Lounge" in the Rio Corridor, the plushest & poshest of all the Players Lounges.

All the PokerStars players congregate in there, do book-signings outside the door, conduct Interviews inside, etc, & the Stars Sponsored Guys get grub in there.

Despite signs & pictures everywhere, not one of them, not one, has any mention of PokerStars, & no "directly employed" 'Stars Staff venture in there.

All very curious, especially when you compare it with that 'Stars Shuttle Bus.

It's like when F1 had to stop Ciggie Advertising, but Marlboro just retained the logo, minus words. Everyon knew it was Marlboro, & everyone knows this is the 'Stars Lounge.

Joe Legge of Virgin, & the dreaded "Mole", the most ferocious & successful of Online players.

We three got to know each other in our Sporting Odds days, & even then, Mole was terrorising the Site, winning everything. He decided to turn Pro, & wrote to me asking where he could find decent cash-action in Scotland. At his level, I advised it would be better if he playd Online, as he'd not find enough Live action in Scotland.

He's won a fortune Online since, plays the very top limits, has paid his mortgage off, & in his rare Live Cash sessions, usually cleans out the entire table. Even when a little the worse for wear, which is normally the case.

I think he's running with Eck & MickyP in Vegas. Enough said.

Total Brain-Fade occurred whilst I was stood chatting for 5 or 10 minutes with Padraig. I admire his relentless work for the Simon Foundation (Irish Homeless charity) a great deal, which I totally support.

Whilst chattng, a pretty young lady come up to me, totally ignoring PP, "hi tikay, how are you?", followed by a french-style kiss on both cheeks.

Now, I know I knew her, but was struggling to place her. I did know her, I did. But who?

So I used standard practice, & pontifricated, allowing me thought-room & time, by introducing her to PP. "Great man, huge fund-raiser, shocking poker player" etc. I then took  picture of them together, we chatted a little more, then off they toddled.

It was fully 10 minutes before the penny dropped.

Padraig & Veronique, his wonderfully charismatic & beautiful (& long-suffering) partner for as long as I've known them. Not sure what she thought when I introduced her to PP. I might have got it through, under "quirky sense of humour", you know.

Has anyone ever seen Rob Garfield and Paul Jackson in the same room together? Hmm, I wonder.
Keep an eye out for under-rated Lutonian Paul Ephremsen, who's currently sat with around 180,000 chips. He's quite capable of turning them into a monster stack in double-quick time, or doing in the lot.

Just clicked his blondepedia pics - looks like Rookie to me. (Lower picture).

The other bloke, Tikay.

And they could of squeezed more than my hand into that shot. Bit out of order, really, Snoops.

Very enjoyable read again Tikay.  I should read more often, but I do get a lovely time reading through loads of pages to catch up.

Have fun in Vegas and look forward to reading some more.

This is Sky Poker Qualifier Mike, & Kelly, the've really done the whole Vegas experience 24/7, & had a cracking time together here.

He works in a "secure institution" up near his Liverpool home, & is Liverpol FC-daft.

He started the day at 17k, went up to 25k, & was struggling on 13k last time I looked.

"Hard work is it Mike?" I asked.

"Hard work? You jest. I grapple with murderers & rapists two or three times a week in my job, this is pure unadulterated fun, & I've had a ball".

Attaboy.

Gotta wonder about those strides though, his "lucky trousers".
That would be Rampton Hospital then

Tikay...just looked at Laddies site and apparently Trevor Reardon is still in sat on about 90k and short - I know you get a trillion requests like this, but if you bump into him wish him luck from me - I spent many a drunken night with him at the WSOP in 2005 and a really great guy, as you know - who deserves a shot at this and so pleased he has cashed.  Cheers mate.  PS - Hoping the laddies update is accurate lol and he hasnt bubbled

Yep my bad, after i posted I realised. A former work colleague who works at Rampton, moved further up north to be closer to family, and he's a Liverpudlian.
