He is indeed a very top bloke a very nice fella. I saw him in the Venetian last night where he made a Royal Flush and had 2 fellas betting into him the whole way then both paid him off on the river.

Those pics are amazing Tikay. I have been out in the garden all day and it didnt rain one drop all day.

There are storm drains all over Vegas and believe it or not July is flood season. It doesnt rain often but when it does be careful as it floods in seconds.

Yup, he told me about that "Royal".

The Hotel Car Parks were flooded this afternoon, too, but a Cabbie told me it only rained for 5 minutes! And you are, what, 7, 8 miles away, & it never rained there? But you must have had the electrical storm last night, I assume. That was a purler.

I went across to Caesars for the Midday $500, but I got it wrong - it was a $120 jobbie, fast clock. I trebled up early, but donked most off with K-K v A-J - flop A-J-J, oops. He made it 1k with A-J, I made it 4k with K-K, he went all-in for 9k, I called, this was "pre". Easy comps if you can dodge them there bullets.

I might play the 11pm $120 at Caesars, unless I can find something more appealing, but I need to write some Blog stuff & do some e-Mails & PM's first. The catch-up is underway.

Sky Poker have been very kind & given me a lovely Vegas bonus, free entry into any big comp of my choice - how thoughtful of them. But I think I'll save it until I get home, as I seem to have missed all the decent Tourneys, & I only have two more full days left here.

Serious question - does anyone know how many Brits played the WSOP Main Event? Not just curious, I need to find out somehow.

Another serious question.

I've been asked to take home, for a friend, an Abercrombie & Fitch T-Shirt (a what?), and an i-Pod, "because they are cheaper in the USA".

Where on earth (in Vegas) would I buy them from? There's a "Forum Mall" in Caesars, would they sell these things?

The Forum shops in Ceasers has an Abercrombie & Fitch store so you will be able to get whatever you need from there.

Do you know what kind of I-Pod you are buying (very important) you will be able to get it from most electrical stores all over town. Or as a fallback you can buy i-Pods at the gate at the airport. Believe it or not but apple have vending machines and you can buy most of the products as if you were buying a can of coke.

Scary.

I often mention my "Life Tick List", the list of things I want to do before, you know, Mr GR comes a-knocking, scythe on shoulder.

Well, Jim (McShane) very kindly gave me a pressie the other night, a DVD called "Bucket List". Evidently it's about two old farts who are dying, & "Bucket List" is their form of words for "Life Tick List".

Bit close to home, that!

Thanks Jim, Vince too.

I asked what kind of i-Pod, I think they come in different sizes, or gigs, or whatever, & she said "a pink one". Or was that the T-Shirt? Jeez. It's for one of the Team at Feltham.

I heard about those i-Pods in Vending Machines, whatever next?

So, how about "how many Brits played the Main Event"? That one go you both stumped, eh? I really need to find out somehow.

Tikay, there's an Apple shop in the big shopping mall opposite the Wynn. I bought a 32GB Touch there the other day. Make sure you know which one you want.

It's the fashion show mall. And there is an Abercrombie & Fitch store there too, I know as I spent $400 there last week Tongue The music in the abercrombie store will be too loud for you though Tony.
