Joe Louis, not usually so stauesque.
Just behind this the MESA grill, one of my favs. Their pork signature dish is probably my favourite meal in town. Veg optional too...

Can you elaborate please?
I've done about 60 or 70 pieces to Camera out here, & have not seen one of them, though I gather they are being transmitted back home. I am also aware that they must have a whole Show of my Out-Takes & Bloopers........

In the Mall shop downstairs, they are selling packs of "Rio" Cards.
Emblazoned across the front it says.....(typed precisely as wrtten)
"This Deck Of Cards Used In Actual Play At This Fabolous Casino."
Marketing peeps do love their adjectives, but really, is anyone dumb enough to be swayed by the words "Actual" or "Faboluus"?
I had an e-Mail today from TV Production company, spamming a £1,000,000 TV Tourney being made-for-tv ithis Autumn.
It described it as "spectacular" & "full of drama". It's not been Filmed yet.
Maybe I just have an aversion to hype & PR-speak.

I slept terribly last night, woke up with a splitting headache, + an adrenelin hangover, caused by the lull after the end of my work out here, apart from penning one more article. I always get that "flat" feeling after I've finished an exciting or stressful project. It has been a bit stressful out here, because I was unexpectedly forced into action as a Presenter, which I can't do to save my life, so it is a relief to be finished.
And I'm working to two Time Zones, as work usually ends for the day at around 2am "local", (10am UK), so the morning batch of UK e-Mails are in by then, so I clear them, & write my daily piece. When I get up at 9am, the rest of the day's e-Mails need sorting. It beats real work, but I don't seem to have the stamina I used to have in abundance.
Anyway, it's all done now, so I was determined to get in some poker at last.
I played the Midday at Caesars & busted in the Semi, & in the 7pm I just busted in the Semi, too. No poker luck this trip then, but I return home comfortably in pocket.
But the car "bump" still hangs over me, I feel so stupid about it, on top of which the Police have issued me with a citation. It's just a Fixed Penalty, but it's galling all the same, after never having rear-ended a car in over 40 years of driving.
Then tonight, I repeated a trick I did on the Champs Elysses in Paris when I was there with Jen Updating the WPT back in 2005 - walked smack into a plate glass window.
I was in a large revolving door exiting The Rio, thought it had reached the "open" bit, & off I marched - bang, full-on into the glass. I felt so bloody daft, 3 or 4 folks went "ooh", "ouch", "you OK Buddy?". I mean, I really gave that glass some welly, smack on the end of my conk.
My first reaction in these do's is to feel if I'm bleeding, & I felt the bridge of my nose with my hand, and there was just a smidgeon of blood, I just sort of "nicked" the bridge. "I'm fine, I'm fine" I said (that male ego thing), but suddenly I'm aware of that horrible feeling of an uncontrolled nose-bleed, & blood was down my shirt & trousers. "sit down, sit down" they are saying, but I just try to make light of it, "honest, I'm OK, thank you". And I march on quickly to the Cab Rank to jump a taxi to Caesars, with blood everywhere. But the Cabbie Jockey says I can't get in the Cab like that, & I get turned away. I felt such an idiot.
I scurried back to my room, let the bleeding stop, changed, & then went to Caesars.
It's fine now, except my hooter has swollen up like a sort of Schnozzle Durante look-alike, and I thoolk through my thnothe like Melvyn Bwagg. I just hope my tnothe ith not buthted, buth ith not thore ath all.

You were waiting to do an interview all suited and booted and an old guy wanders over and starts banging on about his love for Frank Sinatra. Then he thinks you are the musical entertainment for the evening.
Then he says you haven't got his permission to film him whilst nearly tripping over the cables.
Ends with you staring into camera proclaiming " you couldn't make it up "
was shown on last nights club.

I sort of remember it, but it was not in Vegas I don't think. If it was, I don't even recall it!

That might just be because of old age, or maybe you have a concussion from the tragic accident?

Schadenfreude = "the largely unanticipated delight in the suffering of another which is cognized as trivial and/or appropriate".
OK, Old Compton of Sandal. So now I look like you.

The out-take being discussed was shot at Brighton, Tikay.
Sorry to hear about your nose. We'll order an extra vat of make-up.
Have a safe trip home.
