The
Sky
Poker
UK Tour was announced this morning.
It's a 6 leg affair - like an octopus - with the first 5 legs being £50 each, and every Finalist at each of the first 5 legs gets a Seat in the £200 Grand Final in June next year, which will be a 280 seat jobbie.
Leg One kicks off at
DT
D
in Nottingham, September 13th. Leg Two will be at The Broadway, November 15th. Then we go to Scotland, Wales, & the North East, building up to the Grand Final at
DT
D
next June.
Michelle
Orpe
,
Richard
Orford
,
Norman
Pace
will all be at
DT
D
for Leg One. I shall be in charge of water-carrying.
That'll keep me out of mischief for the next 9 months.
What is the
Sky
Poker
tour, when it is at home?
* Fears that he is giving Tikay, more space to ramble on about

6 Live Events, across the UK. Fun & furiously-paced frolics, with a slow-structured Grand Final next June.
any dates and venues for the Scottish leg? I am sure you know it from the top of your head..I'm too lazy to look it up.
Not announced yet. But it's likely to be in 'ol reeky, the other side of Christmas.
Its " AULD REEKY" ol reeky indeed, Ol Reeky is a pensioner that resists the compulsion to wash regularly.

Sky UK poker tour.....well north UK poker tour....
Maybe we could have a Southern Division as well?
Tikay can you please tell Michelle that if she wants any tuition before this all kicks off that i might consider it as long as she desists in her slowrolling activities.
The last time I looked, Nottingham, Birmingham, & South Wales were not in the North....
All locations remain possible, but we need to go to places we have not visited before.
Miss Orpe? I'll leave that to you to convey onwards. I'm scared of her.

Well, it's a 2 phase job, the way I do it.
Having downloaded the pics off the Camera into your Computer, you first have to ensure they are not above the maximum allowed Forum size of 75kb. To do that.....
Right click photo....
"Open with"
"Paint"
"Image"
"Stretch/skew"
Reduce the size by experiment, until you know it's less than 75kb.
SAVE.
To put a pic on the Forum, go to.....
Additional Options (at foot of page when "New Post" is open).
Attach (click "Browse")
Select pic
Click - it will now be in the attachment box.
I gather there are simpler ways - photobucket, gimp, or whatever, but that's the only way I know.
Any problems, just ask.
I encourage you to Post pics, they bring the Forum to life.

They certainly do, just looking throught the 'No words necessary' thread for the first time. Amazing.

I drove round the M25 this afternoon, & Mr Batman was still perched on the Gantry, but the Police had opened the road. (Friday afternoon on that stretch of the M25 is Hell at the best of times). The jam must have been 15 miles - both ways.
There were around 60 Police Officers in attendance, a score of Police Cars, "Special Incident" Vans, & Maintenance Vehicles coning off lanes. Cost to the public, including wasted/lost journey time.....plenty.

Well done! You are up & running. Too complicated for me, though, that photobucket malarky.
What happened to Kodak Film, & getting pics developed at the Chemist?

Kendall, photobucket is far easier than the process you mentioned.
Have you set up an account and actually tried photobucket?

Yes. Well, no.
The thing is, why do I need Photobucket? I've got a special short cut, & can Upload a pic from my camera in just 83 clicks, in less than 20 minutes. Beat that.
