but if ther was any truth in it

.

I know thats meant as a joke but seriously guys there are far more important things to think about than a post that may or may not be true or may be maliciously posted to get comment and forum time for a banned member. i don't watch big brother but understand that the smallest of things becaomes the biggest of issues in their little world. Lets get out and smell the roses.
My Dad is in hospital and I am so worried about him, one of my friends has just been diagnosed as having cancer, I have to move house on Monday,
I spend my time at the moment fighting back the tears that constantly come to the surface, I think I have upset one of the dearest people in the world, people were killed in an air crash yesterday, what part of 'life is too fucking short' are we not understanding?
Rant over, don't hate me for it.
Welcome to my world Tracey. It gets easier to cope with trust me. xx

I don't like your world Maureen - it's very difficult to cope with - I have the utmost admiration and respect as to how you cope with everything. I just know that I can't do as good a job. I have a very short fuse at the moment.

The Madrid 'plane crash was just awful.
In most 'plane crashes, the occupants die instantly, from a high-altitude crash-landing, but this was not the case here, & it seems they survived the actual crash, but were all burned to death, strapped in their seats. Horrible. The 'plane would have been full of fuel, so that'd be some inferno.
I've been reading about it on the PPRuNe Forum,. (Professional Pilots Rumour Network), and the threads there are amazing. You'd think Airline Pilots would be brighter than the average bear, but you see all the usual Forum baiting, rudeness, backchat, knowalls, ill manners, & plain blinkered myopia & insolence.
There's a sort of class divide, between the Budget Airline staff (Ryanair, EasyJet), who are all described as cowboys, & BA staff, who are all seen as snobby, upper-class twits. It's actually quite interesting to see it's not just poker forums where folks get arsey, & cannot debate without shouting & name-calling. It's tough to have a quality debate these days, it really is, but I think we are getting there on blonde now, & long may it last.
lol read the wannabe's forum!! It's crazy on there, so much shit going on including loads of people posting with vested interests, its quality reading! When you think it costs about £60-£80k to train and a lot of pilots base thier decisions on what PPRuNe members say its hardly surprising all the flight schools are on there spreading muck about the competition.

Ive now had 2 pm's from people that this has happened to as well ,by the same person. I know people are having bad times at the mo and my heart goes out to you, but I think that this should be made available to all. Maybe just take out the accused persons name then that way if anyone is offered a similar option they can go in forwarned, I would hate to see any other blondes ripped of

LOL I was a wannabee on there until about a year ago. Until I realised the chances of finding a job over the age of 35 were not great once you have dusted off close to 100k on training etc

Only 2?........
It's just not possible, or right, to restore it. (Bear with me a mo, please). Even the Title is defamatory - "ConMan".
It's very serious stuff, & whilst almost everyone in poker is aware it's happening, we can't validate the actual facts in the Post, which was, by the way, a first-time Post, from a brand-new Member who joined blonde simply to put that Post up. I'm not suggesting it was untrue - I am pretty sure, from my own knowledge, it is true, & from what friends who have suffered the same thing have told me, but we can't be sure. It also contains C & P'd e-Mails allegedly from the "accused" - how can we possibly know them to be genuine? I believe the Poster indicated he was sending, or had sent, the Post to Betfair, where the alleged scam takes place.
We discussed it behind the scenes long & hard, but it's just not right to allow it to remain up.
Please also remember that the "accused" does not have right of reply - that weighed heavily in our decision. We cannot be judge & jury, & present a one-sided version with no right of reply from the other side, in a matter that will almost certainly end up in tears, if not the Courts.
But what about protecting the blondes from a similar such incident?
Well, they are all grown ups, & responsible for their own affairs. It boils down to this, really......
If someone approaches you & says "look, put £x,000 in an Online Trading Account, & give me legal proxy to manage that account"........ what are you gonna say to him? If you say "yes, OK", well, all I can say is
caveat emptor.
. You are sure leaving a great deal to trust!
It is the third such Post we've had to remove in the last few month all about the same alleged scam, & I'm aware of several individuals who have told me that they have been caught. It will all come out in the wash soon enough, & I've no doubt it will appear on other Poker Forums, too.
blondes just need to use common-sense, & say "no".
I hope you understand how awkward all this is for us. I know where you are coming from, but it's really a difficult one. It's especially so because we think all this Forum & Blog (even Facebook now) mud-slinging is not the way to go, or to get things settled. Nobody wins, ever, when folks go running round shouting about stuff from the rooftops - from the safety & security of their PC keyboards, if you'll pardon the mixed metaphors.
Feel free to PM me, & I'll call you if you send me your number.
We had a bit of a heavy day yesterday, to put it mildly.......

Hope your Dad's Op went well Tracey, & the move goes well for you.
I'd text or ring you, but I've got a new bloody 'phone, & I can't use it to save my life.
If you see Maria, wring her neck for me please......She got me this new 'phone sorted, & I'm grateful, but jeez, it's impossible to work. The writing is so small, I have to put a magnifying glass on it to read or write, a text. It has seventeen thousand different ring & text tones - almost all of them musical ones, (what sort of person actually likes musical ring tones ffs?) or daft bingdy bongdy electronic sounds that would fail to amuse a 3 year old. It's a bloody 'phone, not a damn toy. I had to ring Tom urgently this morning, & it took me 20 minutes to find how to do it...... A 3 line Text took me 13 attempts & 35 minutes......
Woe is me, gimme my old 'phone back!

Too bloody right.
My old 'phone was perfect. It rung, texted, & that's all it needed to do. It was "fit for purpose". Just old, & whats wrong with old - we all love old things, don't we?

Well done on a very diplomatic post TK, no need for a call, I understand why you cant put it up again but I hope no-one else gets ripped off. At least Blonde and
DT

had the sense to ban him. So hopefully no one on here or there will get scammed. How can someone do that though in such a close knit community such as the poker world, if it was me I would have to hunt him down, he would be walking like he had been fisted by hell boy. Good luck on getting it all back for the people that have been robbed.

If you get your arse up to Luton tonight, I will show my appreciation for the dead money add to the tourny by showing you how to use your phone. There is even a clever 'old man' setting that should set things up just how you like them. You turn the handle 4 or 5 times and an operator comes on the line...

That is a quality simile. I'm going to use that in the future if you don't mind.
