How sauve does this man look?
A good job he didn't lose any weight off his feet or there would have been a shoe sale of Imelda Marcos' proportions.
Important news.........the shoes are going. I have now isolated the problem with my live game. A couple of weeks ago I wore normal shoes for two comps and cashed in both...........they are going.

Argue with that lot at your peril.
The Ugly Brothers (as some cruelly called them) were planning to stop halfway on their drive back to Scotland to watch the Celtic match at some Celtic Supporters Club I gather.
Top Blokes.
and we managed to - well most of it. we stopped in a rough looking bit of coventry..at a real irish pub. it was such a real irish pub that they werent showing the football until the Gaelic All Ireland Football final was finished. The place was teeming with families, and they were all eating ham and cabbage.

Is Big Laz a caricaturist's dream or what ?
I love him to bits (in a very manly way of course for the benefit of Jeeves' readers)
He is that. He reminds me muchly of Robbie Coltrane, & I told him so.
He told me he once got on a plane & ended up sat next to Robbie Coltrane, & said to Robbie "how come I always end up sat next to a fat bloke?"......
Laz has to be loved.

What time you want me there? If you fancy some precomp cash, I'm up for it.

OK, what time you be there?
Compo is due there, too, we can fleece him good & proper at Kalooki - he'll wanna keep every card he draws.

When I left the G just now, Snat was engaged in an epic Heads-Up encounter, been at it for over an hour I'd say. Good Luck him - he looks so fit & well now.
Tighty Finalled, but exited about 5th I think.
He made a remarkable play against Expressman, two Tables out, who min-Raised, & after some dwellage, & Tighty smoothed.
The Flop came J high, & Expressman instantly - too instantly evidently - shoved all-in, for about one third of Tighty's stack. Tighty Passed, & Expressman showed Aces.......
At-It-Bradley also Finalled, but went early I believe.
Compo exited early, & was running wel in the DC until a horrid clash sent him spinning.
And I had a decent winning session in the DC, at long last, hitting everything.
Thursday, I'm working, Friday & (I hope) Saturday, the Luton-G £250, & immediately thereafter the Stanleys Luton £250 2 dayer, too, a veritable orgy of poker for me. I cannot play any of the following weekends 3-2-1, due to diary problems, so I'm getting my fix this weekend instead, after 3 straight working weekends.
