I found the way to play her was to flat-Call on the Button, & just hope to hit. Raising her Blind with no hand was a terminal affair, she would always call, so I went for Plan B, & just smoothed on her BB, & won a few

Good poker.

Well done to both yourself and Rookie.

Yikes.

I stopped off at Feltham on the way home to write the story of the Funeral, & it would mean I could miss the heavy northbound rush-hour traffic on the long drag up to Derby. But one thing lead to another here, including an un-scheduled Screen-Test (no, not for me, I was the stooge) & I sort of fell asleep at my desk eventually at about 8pm I think, & have just woken up. It's 11.30pm, sheesh. So I'm about to set off, & head home, but the at least the traffic will be gone, & I can spend 3 hours mentally chewing the cud about this & that. It's been an odd few weeks, to put it mildly.

Tonight, I've have had some of the nicest, & most touching, PM's I've ever had, relating to Brendan's Funeral thread. One man said it was as if he had not actually missed the funeral - which was exactly the idea of the thread. I was thrilled. (Contrasting amazingly with some of the gross & childish nonsense that the Mods & I have been handling recently). I will reply to them tomorrow, if you don't mind, I need to go home now. But thank you, you've cheered me up no end. blonde is the most bitterweet of places these days, with everything from love letters to hate mail.

Anyways, I saw this today, & had to photograph it. Or did I see it? Am I still dreaming?

Prizes - of a sort - for telling me what it's meant to represent, or be saying. Bonus Prize for telling me where it is.

Here's another pic, to help you. It's life-size, & it's a cow, for those less brightly disposed.

looks like the cow is a Biggles type character

I'm too bushed to think of the relevant pun, or message its trying to convey, to link a cow with aviation.

Angell spends a lot of time outside, brings home mice & birds regularly. I've never once seen him have a wee or poo, so I guess he uses other folks gardens, oops.

Sounds about right.

no wonder tk never answers his door.....

Maybe a warning that too much Red Bull is Poison, side effects of not only giving you wings but a tail and propeller from your nose.

I think it might be right actually.  Sure I've seen this, its outside Head Office of a hire company somewhere in Sussex.  They bought it from the a charity Cow Parade Auction & repainted it in company colours
