2 arrests in the scary "body parts" mystery.

I hope their evidence isn't based on second-hand information...

They wouldn't have a leg to stand on.

Partook of my first RSM last night, which was "orchestrated" by Ironside. It was all rather bizarre, with rules being made up or abandoned as we went along. I'm not entirely sure if I loved it, or hated it, it was that kind of jobbie.

Briefly, early doors, I was in the top two or three, but I did not stay, lacked middle pace, & finished in mid-division anonymity. I briefly harboured dreams/nightmares of being the next question-setter, but we were all spared, & snoopy got the gig. Congrats him.

THIS would have been one of my Questions - NO GOOGLING.

It's a two-parter, and is based on information correct as of March 1st, 2009.

Part 1 - What do these numbers refer to?

Part 2 - What is the name of the Country omitted from # 2 place. (with 476 against it?).

UK - 2,282

?   -   476

Poland - 301

Japan - 125

USA - 115

Irish Republic - 100

China - 56

France - 1

PS - No, they are not average IQ's.

Tighty & Andrew T are banned from entering. Too clever. As it's hard, Girlies may enter twice.

Don't forget - NO GOOGLING!

As gently - well, harshly - pointed out by several, this would be a shite RSM question. I can see that now.

In my defence, I've only partaken in one RSM - the Ironside debacle - so I was a bit unsure of what was what.

So, try again. The answer to the first part of the question is that they are the number of Supermarkets that Tesco has in each of those Countries.

But, would the Part Two - in what country does Tesco have 476 Stores - be a half-decent RSM question? It's not, truth to tell, very guessable, & there are hundreds of Countries to choose from.

No? OK. I announce my retirement from RSM-age.

Bugger.

Great photos. Male Blackbirds, adorable & charismatic things. They sing lovely, you know, & are very much ground hoggers.

Thanks.

FAIL.

It's a good question for a quiz, but not the RSQ.

The idea is to have a question with multiple correct answers, and the participants try and get a correct answer that no one else goes for.

"Name a town in Derbyshire" would be a good question.  "What's the second largest town in Derbyshire" would be a bad question.

DUCY?

now that I know the question I'm going to go for hungary

there was a time not so long ago when the tesco group was pretty much relying on its profits from poland, hungary, slovakia and the czechs. it was great, tescos everywhere in eastern europe meant I could get heinz beans but they never sold marmite.

I would imagine now that tesco runs the world they're not so reliant on those markets
