Micheal J Fox has a new show about to start in America
Its 19 yrs since he was diagnosied with Parkinsons
The show is called Adventures of an Incurable Optimist.
That's just terrific Jim.
I think the way we look at life, & our personal situations, is key to happiness & a good life. Have you ever seen the "Whinge Thread"? Unbelievable.
Recommended read - the book by Christopher Reeve, after he became paralysed. Stunningly inspiring. Not a lot of whinge thread type stuff in that!

oi tikay I did not go out in the first hand of the £100 last night - I lasted a full three hands tyvm!!!!!
OFFICIAL CORRECTION.
Claw got felted on Hand Two, down to 25 chips, & Busted on Hand Three. *
* Claw was absent from the Table for Hand One.
that's better! The guy that knocked me down to my last 25 chips was not impressed. He'd had to pay a 75 penalty as a late entrant, so didn't quite have me covered, and therefore missed out on claiming my bounty

It works fantastically well .... It encourages all the moans and groans and bad beats to be posted on a thread where people know what they are going to read.
If moans and groans tilt you (which by the way is a moan and groan in itself
) you dont open that thread ... clearer now ??

number of actual, not tongue in cheek, whinges on whinge thread = probs about 3 in 80 odd pages. I would guess there's been that many in the last 10 pages of this thread
