i know i might regret asking but whats IKB
Sigh. That's just terrible. The Greatest Brit, ever! He designed & oversaw the construction of hundreds of CE projects, including.....
Great Westen Region.*
Clifton Suspension Bridge *
Royal Albert Bridge (Saltasah). *
Maidenhead Bridge - still the most stuning brick built arched bridge on earth. *
Paddington Station *
Thames Tunnel (now part of the London Underground). *
Atmospheric Railway
The SS Great Eastern
The SS Great Western
The SS Great Britain
* = Still in use today.
in Dunks defence . .
Greatest Britain that ever lived and yet his name is abbreviated, tut tut.
Show the man some respect and use his name, IKB indeed.
Look, I'm sorry, but anyone who does not know what IKB stands for will not be the mother of my children.

One for the geeks & OCD-ers. NO GOOGLING.
Name that
Tune
Show.
The introductory music - which you HAVE heard - is called "Out of the Blue".

No, you can have more clues.
Ski Sunday is actually a good guess, in many ways - long-running (or was), iconic, recognized by all. But wrong.
The music is performed by the Central Band of the Royal Air Force.
Anyone who has not heard this music, & what is more cannot hum it, has either been on another Planet for a long time, or is a very rare bird indeed.

Antiques Roadshow?
Shocker.
No, sports-based.
The Show has been on every week for 61 years, & has only ever had TWO Announcers. The current Announcer took over 36 years ago.

To the best of my not inconsiderable knowledge on all things geeky, there is no such Show as "footy results". Tighty will be disgusted with you.
