I think some bloke did something similar to an Andy Warhol painting a wee while back.

Can't remember his name, but Warhol was said to have absolutely loved it.

Is this hijacking of tikay's thread symbolic of Banksy's controversial works and the anti-establishment message his graffiti conveys?

I think you'd need the guy who trained Osama Bin Laden to succesfully hijack this thread.

I'll deal with you Banksy Donkeys later. Meanwhile......

Had a long missive from Lush The Gush today, larging up Party Gaming. I won't trouble you with it, it was a bit heavy. It was banging on about their Casino operation, "PartyCasino".

But this bit had me starry-eyed. Do peeps really play this sort of nonsense? I guess if folks watch Big Brother, or admire Banksy, anything is possible.

With rights acquired from Frank Sinatra Enterprises (FSE), a joint venture of the Sinatra Estate and Warner Music Group, PartyCasino.com has also developed the Sinatra Slot - a five-reel, 20 line slot game with a Sinatra Big Band feature.  Play through the three ages of Frank in Hollywood , Las Vegas and New York , collecting and writing big band tunes on the way.  The game features an accumulating bonus trigger; collect a Treble Clef for each reel to build up a Sinatra track at the top of the screen.  Complete the track to see Frank sing a classic track and then get a chance to write your own number in the Big Band Bonus feature. The minimum bet is $0.01 and maximum is $1,000.

Radio Four carried a piece today about Museums in Britain, & majored on the Natural History Museum, through which have passed no less than 25 million visitors. Impressive.

Anyway, the Announcer got himself in a bit of a tangle - well I think he did.

He said.....

"....da de da, 25th milliion visitor".

When I think he mean't....

".....da de da, 25 millionth visitor".

So which is correcth?

25 millionth, quite cleary is the correct one. But you can't expect reporters or journalists to speak proper English anymore.

Anyways..

I think 25 millionth visitor or 25th millionth visitor would be ok.
25th million visitor sounds a bit iffy though.

Might be wrong.

If it was the two millionth visitor, he wouldn't have got it wrong would he? The ordinal suffix is just that, it is attached to the end of the number, not in the middle.
