Castle
It's the Bristolian
Please don't get confused Jon.
The Bristolian was an Express Service that worked the Paddington-Bristol Temple Meads run. It was a TRAIN.
A TRAIN is the LOCOMOTIVE and ROLLING STOCK (coaches, wagons) as a unit.
It was hauled by a 4-6-0 Castle or King Class STEAM LOCOMOTIVE.
We must not confuse Locomotives with Trains. They are as different as cement & concrete, or ceilings & roofs.
or for that matter sultanas and raisins
Lentils & pearl barley even.
One of our kids (I forget which one) use to say "I don't want any bill bailey in my soup"

It was obligitory with Rabbit soup to have lentils, pearl barley, split peas, broad beans, & of course, a giant slimy dumpling.

If it has rabbit in it, it's stew, not soup.

Of course, I stand corrected.
Me and Tom
think alike.
No, I'm sorry, that's so wrong, I sound like someone from Essex, or Scotland.
Tom & I
think alike. There, that's better. I feel posh again.

No, but I dined at "The Cow Pie Factory" in Tipton, I think, where the Cow Pie was 4lbs in weight.
It was run by an Irish family, & they had a meat fry-up called "Micks Grill".
I think it was with Rhow, DC & Camel, maybe John Shipley too. Proper nice it was.
