Lol.... nostratikayus.

Please don't compare me with Ex-Members Vinni.

BigMemberus is now FlaccidMemberus.

No no no. It was a reference to you saying a few weeks back that the jacko concert shambles would end in tears. Nostradamus type stuff frrom you there.... therefore nostratikayus. See what I done there? Sigh.

Bugger. I know how Ding feels now.

Sorry.

I'll say my piece on MJ in a bit, but yes, I did predict the Concerts would never happen, & I woulda been right, but I never foresaw that exit.

GG the cost of the tickets all those who purchased them via Secondary Internet Ticket Sites. At least 25% of the ticket-Holders will get a full refund. The 75% can't expect sympathy, they must have known it was a gamble, surely?

This assumes the concert is off

Thus far, I have heard no such announcement. It wouldn't surprise me if it were turned into some sort of Michael Jackson tribute tour.

With the remaining members of the Jackson 5 and some "special guests"? Yeah, I could see that actually.

I've just unearthed anothe quirkily named American for your collection; a golfer called Bo van Pelt.

Do you think his nickname might be rawhide ?

Wooly Jumper never fails to fail. For the 3rd year running, the outbound Virgin Atlantic Flight was over 2 hours late leaving.

458 passengers + 18 Crew = total manifest of 472!

Not a happy flight for Claire, either. We were sort of seperated on the 'plane, & she had 5 drunken tossers - pissed/drugged up kids - 1 sat next to her, 4 behind. They hassled her muchly, (we were all kipping, so missed it, & felt awful afterwards), verbal abuse & piss-taking, banging her seat repeatedly, until she complained. That made it worse, they really went to town then, eventually she had to move, & was given a Crew Seat in the Galley. (No spare Seats). She was pretty roughed up, mentally. At McCarron, we were all held on Board for 30 minutes or so until the Police arrived, & escorted the brave bastards off for questioning.

Virgin banned them from flying Virgin on their return flight home, so they gotta book with another Airline, & stand the cost.

Our "party" had to await the outcome of the Police & FBI (!) questioning the yobs at McCarron, and then the Police escorted the 5 of us (our party) out of the Airport, & into a specially organised Taxi to be right by the front door, as there was concern as to afters by the Lads, who were now roaming the Airport, & apparently well up for it. Really felt for Claire, & it shook her up a bit, & James, Dan & I felt real bad as we'd not realised it was going off.

And no, I never fell asleep at Gatters.

pretty shitty for Claire, glad the idiots got a little bit of punishment, although I'm surprised the cops just let em go to continue their reign of terror!

That Virgin flight seems to be delayed more often that it's on time.
Feb - three hours due to ice.
This month - two hours. PA not working, had to get a circuit breaker brought in.
I is done with it imo. Back with United through LA or SF in future.

I guess its all about experience. I've flown VA last 4 Vegas trips, all been more than OK, no hassles no overlong delays. Your trip sounds a bit crap tho' good to see they got the idiots arrested and banned.

When I went a few weeks ago flight was mostly Celtic fans off to the convention in Vegas. Even tho' they drank the plane dry there was no signs of hassle and they seemed a pretty good natured lot.

I'll probably give BA a spin next time.

One of our Players/Qualifiers was coming out from Heathrow, via Boston (no idea...) & got "bumped" off his Flight at Heathrow. (Good news for the long-suffering Shareholders).

He managed to get un-bumped after a "rigorous" exchange of views. Then his Boston connection got a 5 hour delay.

There's a direct flight now that departs at 3.30pm, and arrives around 6.30pm local time which sounds great.
