That looks like Jim's nephew with him in the background. He used to play at Gala Notts and was a really nice bloke too.
Yeah, that figures. I was not sure who he was, but he travelled with Jamie, & seemed to be "family", exhibiting similar inbred characteristics, you know, plays the banjo, has 3 ears, that sorta thing.
Not sure I recall him from Gala Notts.
Thanks for fllling me in Cos, I was wondering who he was.
I've got hundreds of random "trip-photos" already, but I'm not sure they'll interest anyone.

Managed to do my Blog via e-Mail, sent it to a third party, had to truncate it a bit, but as a holding exercise, it will have to do. I really hope I can sort this lappie problem.
Off for the Daily Team-Briefing shortly, been summoned to a 10am summit by Mother Hen, gulp.
After that, we have to collect our Press Passes, suss out some filming locations, recce the Cardroom, get my Lappie sorted, meet Gush, meet some Player Agents (player have agents now, ffs...), la de da de da.
So not much chance of any poker today, leastwise, not the Noon Bellagio $1k-er, or 2pm Ceasars $500-er, but I might sneak the 7pm Ceasars tonight.
Then, tomorrow, the work starts proper, so no more poker for a good few days.
Just as well, given how well I played last night. 35 minutes to donk off 6,000 chips at 25-50!
These boys don't do Pass, & it seems A-J is a Calling hand pre-flop for half their stack. Lucky he led out on the J-hgh Flop, or I lose the lot with my A-K. Instead, I made a good Pass, & thus was able to survive another 12 minutes.

I do my first Live Phone-In at 2pm Local (10pm UK), so we went looking for a nice spot to do it from, which has plenty of atmo. Came down to choice between the bustling Media Centre, or the Brasilia Room.

Lol, noted. I never finished the Story of the lost Camera, either. Turned out that, technically, it was not, if we use the widest sense of the word, "lost" at all.
The tea-leaf who stole it later planted it in my pocket, to make me think I'd never lost it in the first place. Which I diiscovered as I got to the Checkout to pay for it's replacement Camera, in PC World, Luton.

Brekkie was partaken at the Sau Paolo, & was typically American, & entirely pleasing - eggs, potato stuff, sausage-meat square stuff, la de da, coffee, orange-juice, the works.
And a muffin on a stick, with a cabbage leaf for decoration. I jest not - a muffin on a stick. Whatever next - muffins with one of those cocktail umbrellas?
So uncivilised, the Americans.

Breakfast at The Rio's breakfast restaurant (ahem!) scrapes the bottom of the barrel both in terms of quality and value imho.
Taxi to The Palms each morning for both excellent hospitality and satisfaction ftw.

Film Buff Alert.
Leaving Vegas for the moment, I spotted a real rarity in The Times on Friday.
They reviewed a film starring Sasha Grey. You don't see that in The Times every day.
It described her, coyly, as having "intriguing cultural references". Now, THAT'S grown-up humour at it's best, & most subtle, never mind all this gross MJ/paedo trash.
It was, apparently "mesmeringly dull", & the piece went under the headline "Porn Star looks the part but acting isn't her forte".
Deduct 2 House-Points for that oh-so-dull Times Headline. It's sister organ, The Sun, would have done so much better. In fact, I could predict their Headline word-for-word.
Sasha Grey sucks.
We shall await the verdict of Tighty & Chomps on Miss Grey's abilities.

Sasha Grey sure is a new one on me and it ain't not coming out over here the next couple of weeks.
If you get a day off over there and want something completely away from poker, something that will engross you for a couple of hours, go watch My Sister's Keeper. Performances are so good and film of the year so far for me.
It annoys the smeg out of me that there were only 50 odd watching this, while they were queueing up to get into Transformers Farking 2 when I left at 9pm. Still I live in central England, aka multiplex heaven, so probably to be expected (no ding, NOT the fens).
9.5 out of 10 from me. Seen it yet Tighty?
