Ahh ok Craig, I saw all the lights around my old table(sob) and thought that was the tv table.

Chris Johnson OUT in 7th winning £6,300
A giant all-in coup developed when Chris' whole sizeable stack got in against Kerry, who just covered him.
Chris held: qs qc Kerry held: jh jc
The board came an unbelievable
js
jd giving Kerry a giant 700k-ish chip stack and sending an unlucky Chris out. The rest of them are on a break.

Rumit, who's "really enjoying it" tells us he has 140,000 or thereabouts. He is all in favour of the resetting of the blinds as it's given them time to play it out...
Apparently on the last hand they were going nuts in the commentary box - Gary Jones fell off his chair, reportedly.

I must be tired, I read that as "Gary Jones fell off his chair, repeatedly"

A Blackpool boy always gets there or there abouts on Grand Prix day.
Mr. Simcock used to live up this way and play nightly as well.
Go Mick, bring home the money, and get a lift in your old mans lapdance venue for Ironside.

We are still on a short break, a sort of long short break. Sorry about this lack of "flow", colouring up is the excuse this time.

For a guy who was, arguably, the best player in the Final, who'd steadily built his stack all day, who was in great shape, & had not been all-in once during the entire comp until his exit hand, where he went in with qs qh and got smacked on the nose by jc jd jh js Chris Johnson, clutching his New Laptop, looks remarkably cheerful. I can't help but feel sorry for him. He's a lovely guy, he really is.

Mick Fletcher takes a pot off Paul Dargon, the ex-chip leader, with pocket 10s against Paul's pocket Sevens, with two Kings showing on board. It's one of those rare times it gets to the river without anyone going nuts.

Ah. I recognise Mick Fletcher from the last £300 comp. Very laid back character. doesn't say much, but comes across as pretty friendly.
