And people are wondering why the numbers on Crypto are going down

Why do people continually blame the software when they get outdrawn, but never when they suck out ?

Im blaming the software for NOT being random, thats my only point.

I understand your point, and it's hugely frustrating if you are on the wrong end of a 'joke' hand.

However, the fact that these things do happen occasionally proves, rather than disproves, the randomness (is that a word?) of the software.

Joe,

My mate's girlfriend's brother in law has got a mate who codes the crypto software. He says that it's def not random. They code it so that new players win more pots than they should to keep them playing at the site. Also hands like your's where all the money's gonna go in on the flop so that they rake in up to £27 a pot. Also if you cashout you get screwed for a while cos they want to keep the money in their bank account not give it out to the players.

Anyway he said for a 10K a month bung he can code it so you never get a bad beat and if you get your money in behind you will suckout 72% of the time. I only play low stakes for fun so it's not worth me doing it but it would prob be worthwhile for a high stakes player like yourself. Shoot us a PM if you wanna talk to the guy.

To come to Joe's defence I can see why he thinks the way he does.  I just got the impression after about 80k hands that coolers came up a lot more than on other sites.  I stopped playing there when I was playing hu and in about 100 hands my opponent had called my button raise 3 times.  On the 3rd occasion he chose to call with 98o and flopped trip eights getting half my stack (I had QQ).  I am happy now playing elsewhere where I have the confidence to bet my hands without worrying all the time that my opponent has the one hand out of his range that beats me.

ps The point of this post is not "rigged/not rigged" but that IMO, if you lose confidence in a site, you can't play well and you have to move elsewhere.

On one particular site, a few months back, I seemed to be getting rivered by middle pin straights far more frequently than was feasible.
Eventually came to the conclusion that the players were fishier on that site and were chasing miracles more often.

I can't prove or disprove whether any site is more or less random than any other.
But I know for sure that, over any decent period, if I lose then it's because my opponents have played better than me, and for no other reason.
