They are pics from Satalag Luft 111, The first is where the escape tunnel "Harry" opened up (a good few feet short of the trees).

The second is a memorial built by the surviving POW's after the murder of their comrades who were captured after escaping.

It's a 97E "Sit Up & Beg" Ford Popular. Windscreen wiper (singular) operated by air reservoir (only worked going downhill), 3 speed gearbox.
