Roland De Wolfe is kicking off for not being allowed to buy-in at the last minute meanwhile Jeff Buffenbarger made it to his seat as his cards were dealt. Quickest. Man Ever.

Incidentally, there's a little group of Scandies here led by Torstein Iversen and Jan Sjavik, which should add to the mix. I'm off to get some more pictures.

Can we have regular updates on the Irish please. I see Micky McCloskey in the phot and I think Mike Muldoon and a few others are over. Also keep an eye out for Nick Risdale, he should be wearing a GJP hoodie.

Cheers,

Mike

Some very interesting tables dotted about, blondites Rookie and Alex Martin have been paired together, there's a table with Ram Vaswani, Dave Clarke, Steve Vadar and Raj Modar, the Ladbrokes Million winner which should be entertaining...

...As I wondered through the tables , more concerned with seeing who might be paired up than expecting masses of action on level 1, Flushy's dulcid tones were heard as he told me to report Rick was about to fold his big blind to his 200 raise from early position. It had been flat called by mateyboy, (I'll be using that a lot till i get round people's names).

As Flushy mocked Rick, daring him to squeeze, Rick did indeed reraise. I missed the exact amount but it looked like it was to about 700-900 or so.

Flushy laughed and passed as did the cold caller.

More wandering round the tables, checking the match ups,The Camel and Joe Grech sharing the felt and a table with Julian Thew, Paul King and Willie Tann looked interesting.

More noise from Flushy's table.

What's the mentalist up to now? But he is not involved this time. Rick has raised to 125 on the button called by sb and BB.

The flop of Two Diamonds was checked to Rick who bets 225, which the SB duly calls and the BB duly raises to 925. Rick is having none of this and reraises to 2925.

The BB thinks for a short while and announces ALLIN, pushing his chips over the line.

You can hear Rick's breath rushing out of him and he groans audibly. He's got a hand but is it good enough?

After huffing and puffing for a minute or so, Rick decides to fold, claiming but not showing a set of deuces (  I forget his online name again.....)

....a big pot lost and a big hit to actionman's stack there, but one from which he can recover.

As I walked away from the table to write this hand up, Barry Neville wandered past and after being introduced exclaimed loudly in his burly yorkshire brogue "Ohhh so yer the big poof that shares flooshy's bed" and throws me a wink. I guess so ! Well it's hard to disagree with a 20 stone yorkshireman. Not till I've had at least 5 pints anyway........

Loving your style of writing and keep the pics coming :-)

Chris Bruce just related an odd story to me. Mateyboy limps UTG for 50, Ram made it 250, and UTG made it 500, Ram called.

Flop:

two hearts

MB bets 400, Ram called.

Turn:

Check check.

River:

MB bets 1200, Ram calls. Mateyboy shows Tens and says, "You must be winning." Ram mucks. Huh?

Anyway, here's Ram sitting next Smokin' Steve.

And Chris Bruce also on this table.

Ok, here's some photos. (And not because I want to show off the coolness of this camera).

First of all, here is Rick "Action man" Trigg.

Martyn Cavanagh and Torstein Iversen

Flushy's "Don Fanucci" suit.

Praz and Karl, on the same table. Again! Live poker is rigged.
